Registration Instructions
For children who have completed 1st through completed 5th grade –* must be 7 yrs. old
by Sept. 1 – (conventional school)
A form must be filled out for each child
Electives are filled on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis – we cannot “hold spots”
Forms MUST be signed by parent or legal guardian when submitted




Cancellation Policy: If your child is unable to attend, please notify us as soon as possible.
Refunds will only be issued if notification occurs by June 8, 2015
Elective Descriptions
All electives subject to change –- if necessary, you will be notified
Strumming Along: Learn how to play the guitar. Basic chords, strumming techniques and
melody will be learned. (“Loaner” guitars will be available.)
Chalk It Up! : Explore ideas beyond the chalkboard and discover new ways to use chalk.
The Art of Quilling: This art form involves using strips of paper that are rolled, coiled,
stretched, shaped and glued together to create beautiful, decorative designs.
Industrial Art: Create one-of-a-kind art using hardware, cement, wire, metal objects,
galvanized pipes and more!
The Hunt: Learn how to use a bow & arrow, hit the bulls-eye, cast a fishing line, tie a fly, strap a
sling, and build a trap!
Take Flight: Would you like to understand the basic elements of how to make something
fly? Learn about different kinds of flying machines and how they work and even build and test
them? In this class, we will explore forces with catapults, propulsion with rubber bands, and shoot
off a few rockets!
Embroidery Art: Learn how to use a needle and special thread to make a picture on fabric and
create a beautiful piece of art using embroidery stitches.
Paper Made: Take everyday paper objects like magazines, shopping bags, paint sample chips,
wrapping paper, old maps, and transform them into stunning art and projects.
Boom, Snap, Clap: Learn how to use your body to make incredible rhythms. Get active,
improve your
coordination and amaze your friends!
Woodworking: Create a unique game ball rack while learning basic skills of working with
wood.
