Scope (A brief statement of overall responsibilities)
Responsible for all Safety, Quality & Production matters in Workshop and on site.
Responsible: (The person directly responsible to)
ASSISTANT MANAGER - HYDRAULIC
Responsible for: (The main job activities)

Production planning and execution.

Optimum utilization of resources.

Interaction with Customer Reps.; Classification Society Surveyor, Sub-Contactors & main yard personnel.

Identifying training requirement for subordinates.

Identifying tooling & equipment requirement for increasing safety and productivity.

Ensure that the Safety, Quality & Environment requirements of the yard are strictly followed.

Perform other job related duties as assigned by the section head.
Preferred Competencies:

Degree / Diploma in Engineering or Shipyard apprenticeship/training in Production or Sailing experience as
Marine Engineer.

Minimum five years experience in the Production Section of Shipyard or sailing aboard as Marine Engineer in
the Rank of at least 2nd Engineer.

Computer literate.
