You can also assign different learners easier or more difficult tasks, based on their technology skill level. You could have learners do A1 individually, rather than having them all listen together and putting the sentences in order in pairs. Email them the link or give them the path to find the recording at hubbs.spps.org > Students > Class Web Pages > Using English > Citizenship > A2 could be emailed as an attachment and then learners could type in their answers, rather than write them on paper. Even for Part 2, you can show the students how to click on Insert and then click on Shapes and choose a Circle to circle their answers in that part of the activity. For instructions, it just says “Listen to the story” so that you can either read it to them, or have them access the recording and listen on their own. Instructions: Have students cut out the sentence strips and mix them up, one set per pair or small group.
