For Common Application: Invite your teacher via
COMMON APP to write a letter for you. Sending
electronic requests to counselor/teacher is the
FIRST STEP.


Common Application.
 Other transcript requests may go
through Mrs. Harbaugh in
counseling office.

There are 5 branches of the military:
Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard
 Speak to a recruiter about enlistment (make sure
you go with a trusted adult)
 Take the ASVAB- the better you perform on this
test, the more options you will have for jobs/career
in the military
 There are other ways to serve: go to college first,
then enlist as an officer or join ROTC in college

Go to FAFSA (Free Application for Federal
Student Aid) and get your PIN number.

 Put your PIN number in a safe place so you
don’t forget about it
 Submit the FAFSA (Federal aid) beginning
January 1, 2016 and no later than March 2, 2016!
 Complete FAFSA using 2014 tax information,
then update when you have completed your
2015 taxes

website (fafsa.edu.gov) to help you

 For Cal Grant (California aid) The San
