Port Chester High School Guidance Department Report to the Board of Education October 14, 2010 PCHS Guidance Department Mission The counselors in the Guidance Department at Port Chester High School are committed to the social, emotional, and academic welfare of all of our students. Counselors confer with parents and students concerning scheduling, vocational and educational plans, academic achievement, and personal counseling. In collaboration with administration, teachers, family, and community, counselors strive to encourage all students’ individual and cultural uniqueness and create an environment which encourages lifelong learning.
