Graduate Record Examination (GRE)

GRE is a computer-adaptive test.

General Test:

• Multiple-choice test that most graduate schools use for admission to their graduate programmes.

• Three areas: Analytical Writing, Verbal Reasoning,

Quantitative Reasoning.

Niamh Daly is a PhD candidate in the

Archaeology Department at UCC. Niamh will investigate female kinship ties in early medieval non-ecclesiastical populations from Ireland using archaeological bone chemistry in the School of

Human Evolution and Social Change at Arizona

State University.

Niamh O'Mahony is a PhD candidate in English at UCC. Niamh will pursue research on avant-garde poetry and literary criticism at Miami University,

Ohio.
