1. The Department expects the following courses and sections to be available for discharge for
the Winter 2014 semester (please find the listing also on

applications must correspond to the appointment package as listed below (i.e., it is not

2. COMBINATIONS
The teaching needs envisaged above are based on current FTE allocations and current expectations of enrolment
numbers and patterns for Winter 2014. Should these estimates prove inaccurate, the particular combinations of courses
may change.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION
Ph.D. or Ph. D. candidate preferred in Criminology or related area with a focus on Criminology or Criminal Justice.
Previous university teaching experience is necessary.
Evidence of substantive knowledge of subject area.
4. TYPES, DURATION AND FORM OF APPOINTMENT
A reduced-workload half-sessional appointment is for at least 9 but less than 15 semester hours in any one semester.
5. APPLICATIONS

b) Updated curriculum vitae, and any other relevant information concerning their candidacy.
c) Copies of recent teaching evaluations, ideally in the course posted.

The Department will provide upon request to any applicant with CUPE experience a current relative seniority list.
