and return this form to Amy Goodwin (SCVS) via SCPS currier.
Seminole County students are eligible to take summer classes at Seminole County Virtual School.

Directions for signing up for Seminole County Virtual School Classes
A. Go to http://vsa.flvs.net
Locate and Click “SIGN UP”
Click “New Students Start Here” if you have never taken a virtual class
Existing student should Login
Click on “I live in Florida”
B. Choose a County
Select Seminole County
Choose a Student Type
Click Continue.
C. Browse Course Catalog
Select the course you would like to
take
D. Select the course segment (segment 1 = semester 1, segment 2 = semester 2, All segments = full-year.)
E. Choose your preferred start date. You will not be able to access your course until this date.
F. Choose the virtual school you would like to take - Seminole County Virtual School
G. Select Continue
H. Answer the questions for the FLVS survey. (3 questions) Then, select continue.
You may add up to three courses to your “backpack”, unless you are a Home School Student, then you
can select six courses.
Next, click on Continue, complete the enrollment survey, and then click on Continue and Create My
Account.
I. New Student Information
Complete all of the required New Student Sign Up fields.
When finished, click Sign Up.
Complete the Additional Information and Commitments.
J. Physical School
It is VERY important that you select the correct physical school based on your registration status. If you
do not select the correct physical school, your course placement could be delayed!
K. Parent / Guardian Account
You will now have the option to create a Parent / Guardian Account. This will give you a separate log in
to approve your child’s courses and monitor his / her work. Return to the home screen of http://flvs.net
and locate Sign Up for Parent / Guardian Account in the top right corner to complete the account by
following the directions on screen.
