They will also be introduced to matrices. Throughout this course, students will develop learning strategies, critical thinking skills, and problem solving techniques that will prepare them for future math courses and college entrance exams such as the ACT. Each class session will begin with a prayer and a Biblical principle that pertains to the lesson. My goal is to have fun when we are in the classroom together, and to help students develop skills that will give them an edge no matter where the Lord leads them. Tutor Bio Most of my students call me “Mister Bill” . I live in Grand Rapids, Michigan. My wife, Mary, and I are celebrating our 33rd year of marriage this year. We have home-schooled four children. Our first-born son, Ross, was killed by a drunk driver when he was 5-1/2 (which has taught me the meaning of suffering, patience, and contentment that only the Lord can provide). Our other son, Evan, enjoys photography and he has one year remaining at Kendall College of Art & Design. Our oldest daughter, Emily, is pursuing a career in culinary arts at Secchia Institute, and our youngest daughter, Betsy, is a student at Grand Rapids Community College and Grand Valley University with a dual major in Chemistry and Physics. I retired from my corporate career in 2009 and now I enjoy teaching math, physics, computer technology, mechanics, and handyman skills classes, while managing my business, The 3 Wise Men Handyman Services, LLC and a non-profit organization, The Apple Pie Ministry. I love the Lord, and I look forward to meeting him face to face. My academic background includes Electronics Technology (UEI, alias ITT), Engineering Science (GRCC), Electrical Engineering (WMU), and Information Technology (University of Phoenix). My certifications are in project management, computer networking, and telecommunications design . I have been working with most all of the Microsoft® office and programming software products at an advanced level since the early 1980s. I have lived in a technical world since I was old enough to hold a screwdriver, and I have many fond memories of doing every task imaginable with either my dad, my grandfather, or both. I entered the work force as a young teenager, and I owned my first house when I was 20 years old. I have moved many times, leaving home improvements everywhere for others to enjoy.
