~~SPECIAL PRAYER REQUEST~~
Please pray for the repose of the soul of Bernice Sescoe, sister
of Larry Owens, who has gone home to be with the Lord.

At this time we also ask for your continued special prayers
for the peaceful repose of the soul of Michael Lee Green,
son of Charnetta Dobbins, our Youth Choir Director.
Charnetta mourns the passing of her newborn son who died
within a few days of his birth. Let us also keep the family
and friends in your prayers.

Please also hold the families and friends of ALL of our
dearly departed loved ones in your thoughts and prayers,
particularly during this holiday season.
PASTOR’S PEN
Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
As we begin this 60th Jubilee Year,
I offer you this prayer:
Dear Lord,
For this coming year,
just one request I bring:
I do not pray for happiness,
or any earthly thing—
I do not ask to understand
the way you lead me,
But this I ask: teach me to do
the things that please you most.
I want to hear your guiding voice,
to walk with you each day.
Dear Master,
Make me swift to hear
and ready to obey.
And thus the year that I now begin
a happy year will be—
if I am seeking just to do
the things that please you.
In 2012, May you have…
