Subject: - Purchase of General store/Stationary articles/goods for use in office of DCP/South
East District– Submission of rates/quotations thereof.
Sir,
It is to inform that South East District intends to purchase the stores/items/goods (list
enclosed), on urgent basis for official use.
You are, requested to supply your rate/ quotation for the supply of
Stores/Articles/Goods on or before 15.07.14. Your rates/ quotation (in sealed cover) may be
sent and dropped in the tender box, kept in the office of undersigned. The following are the
terms and conditions for procurement and supply of the above items/goods/articles: 1)

The firm should be registered with the Sales Tax/ Service Tax Department, as the
case may be.
Copy of TIN/VAT Number should be attached with the quotation.
The word “Quotation/rates for stationary/General store article” may be written on
the top of envelop.
The quotation should be sent on proper letter head of the firm, having complete
address of communication with telephone number(s) etc.
The period of supply of items/articles/goods, under purchase will be within a week
after placement of the confirmed order. However, due to urgency, supply can also
be asked telephonically. In addition, it is also pointed out that the supplies should be
on credit basis and no claim will be submitted/sent for interest etc. in case the
payment is delayed due to administrative reason or due to non-availability of funds
during the particular financial year or so.
The rates in the sealed quotation should be reasonable with quality, priced at the
prevailing market rates.
The percentage of Vat/taxes etc. should be mentioned clearly in the quotation.
In case the supplied items/goods/articles is/ are observed/noticed as substandard or
of poor quality/ not according to the specification at any time during its use, bidder
shall replace the same at his own cost and no extra payment will be made to him.
Bidders are, however, advised to quote for best quality material and strict for supply
the same, failing which legal action can be initiated under provisions of GFR, 2005.
