To teach students the English Language skills required for the successful
undertaking of academic studies focusing on academic speaking and writing
skills. To improve students’ academic reading and listening skills. To
strengthen students’ self-study skills.
To comprehend and practice the vocabulary used in academic speech (both oral
and written) regardless the discipline the students are concerned with. To deal
with the vocabulary used in academic textbooks and articles and understand the
language used in lectures and seminars.
