Additional Rules for Web Design
Most students make wise choices regarding time management, but there are some
who abuse the opportunity to use the internet by checking email, playing online
games, downloading music, etc. Distracting devices can be a problem as well. Many
students come to class with earbuds attached to an ipod or MP3 player. When
instruction is given, some students do not get the information because they cannot
hear it. Cell phones can also be a problem and are against Citrus Valley High School
rules.
In order to help students focus, the following rules will take effect immediately:
Inappropriate Internet Use
1st Offense = Web access denied for the rest of the period
2nd Offense = Web access denied for the rest of the week, and the parent/guardian
will receive a phone call.
3rd Offense = Web access denied for the rest of the semester, and the
parent/guardian will receive a phone call.
Earbuds, ipods, MP3 players, cell phones
These items are not allowed in class at any time. If they are visible, the student will
be asked to remove the item and it will be taken to the office by the instructor.
Parents or guardians can pick up the items after school.
