Reporting to: Marketing Manager
Provide assistance in developing and maintaining the Newtech Brand. To help create and a branding
template and overarching Newtech branding theme. Provide an effective and reliable solution to
marketing requests from the sales department. Maintain the Requirements of the job, within the
agreed constraints of the Newtech Marketing Budget. To assist the company in realising its long term
sales goals.
CRM
Develop an Understanding and effective use of CRM for
marketing. Extraction of data from Empower and
interface. Formatting specific mailing Lists. Do annual
compliance checks with NZ post. Update Key contacts.
Train Staff on requirements for proper data input. Liaise
with Cloudtech on key issues. Maintain Whole Mailing
List Database of approximately 3000 details. Liaise with
Full Circle on Talon extraction if required (which drives
Sugar data). Understand CRM and email marketing
relationship. Do email campaigns approximately one per
month using software add in using inbox 2000.
Website
Develop an understanding of Newtech.co.nz website
and its back end functionality. Understanding how to
load, list and categorise products. Understand the
interface relationship and its impact on the website. Be
the first point of call for website issues. Instruct Graphic
Designers on rolling changes to important and front high
visual and pages. Critique all Graphic Designer work
before it goes to web. Provide a rolling program of
maintenance for all website products. Make sure that
images are up to date and consistent. Manage the Retail
Systems and
side of the website and its visibility to web users. Be
conversant and have a functional relationship with Zeald
Technology
and there back end expectations. Maintain a great
customer experience for anyone using the website in
online purchasing.
HHA
Develop an understanding of the interface and its
functionality to website. Understand the interface Key,
and develop skills to go into server drivers and identify
faults. Train staff on how to minimise faults in item
loading. Provide push and drive to make sure that
interface issues between HHA and Zeald are dealt with
quickly and efficiently.
Full Circle
Develop and understanding of Empower and its related
and
functionality to web. Understand how items impact
Empower
various web visibilities. Work with Full circle on issues
that need resolve. To update images where necessary
for empower display. To understand the use the
functionality in the User functions of Empower, the Item
Category information.
Publications Provide leadership and organisation of the monthly and
and
annual publications. Arrange competitive pricing for this.

A) Every Month the creation, design, and
implementation of a monthly brochure Mailout.
B) Annual Newtech Master Publication
C) Make sure that publications are put to web as
soon as print media is finished.
D) Organise, and provide reporting on agreed
Google adword campaigns.
E) Update as necessary the profiles of Key
Management Staff on Linked in.
Organise and creatively select Promotional material and
Giftware in line with Marketing Manager directives. Ask
for feedback from sales team members on effective
ideas.
Instruct Graphic Design Team on the Email signatures to
be used for the month, and advise landing pages that
need to be created or used to support this.
Provide effective solutions for images to be stored,
collated and sorted in required formats. To prioritise
important image collection, and deployment to
Empower and Web when required. Organise
Photography as required. Maintenance of images to be
carefully managed.
To make sure that all packaging that needs to be used or
printed, meets the expectation of the Marketing
Manager. (Packaging for outward bound cartons, and
packaging used in products that we on sell).
Provide Reporting to Management of critical web data
and Google reporting. Come up with creative
methodology to increase needed web traffic and
effectiveness.
Maintain effective Google ranking with strategic meta
data use, and defining areas of weakness, and bolstering
areas of strength.
Key relationships are:
NSM National Sales Manager. Functioning and
successful relationship with the NSM and understanding
products to take to market.
Finance Manager. Understanding products that need
special exposure for slow moving stock campaigns or
other reasons.
