State website – www.thspa.us – has all the information you should need including rulebooks,
regional standings and other important information.
Important Dates:
January 25th – State membership dues must be postmarked
February 20th – Late dues with $200 late fee must be postmarked
February 27th – Last qualifying date (results on this day must be received by midnight)
February 29th – 4:00 pm Weight declarations for double qualified lifters.
March 5th- Region 4 Division 1 Regional Meet at Katy Taylor High School
April 2nd – State Meet – Taylor County Expo Center, Abilene, TX
Invitational Meets – If you are hosting a meet YOU MUST have it certified through me for those
results to count towards the regional standings. Also, there will be a new tab to have your meet
certified on the www.thspa.us website. Also, you must use Powerscore to score your meet. It is
provided free of charge through the state website. All files sent following meets must be .psm files.

Regional Standings – Will be posted on state website weekly. Please check these each week and if
there are errors in the spelling of names or schools please send me an email so I can get those
corrected.
Regional Meet – March 5, 2016 at Katy Taylor High School. There will be an early weigh-in the
day before the meet. More information will follow later.
SCHOLARSHIP:
If you have an athlete interested in attending college, please note the guidelines located in the rulebook
for applying for a THSPA scholarship. All required materials and documentation are due at the
Regional Championship Meet.
