ATTENTION STUDENTS TUITION TAX FORMS 1098-T NOW AVAILABLE ON THE WEB To access the Student Tuition Statement (Form 1098-T) tax statement via the MyWilkes portal, enter your email username and password. After logging into MyWilkes, select the Student Services the tab: After selecting the Student Services tab, in the My Records channel, select “Tuition Statement (Form 1098-T”. You will see a prompt to enter the appropriate tax year: Enter the Tax Year (2012) for which you would like to view your 1098-T notification in the field then click on the Submit button: Select Tax Year Enter a Tax Year: 2012 Submit After clicking on submit, your tax notification will appear. The 1098-T tax notification will display that has been, or will be, submitted to the IRS. Below is a representative sample ONLY. According to IRS regulations the educational institutions may choose to report payments received (Box1), or amounts billed, for qualified tuition and related expenses (Box2) along with the Scholarships or Grants (Box5). Wilkes University has chosen to report (Box 2 and 5). The information for payments received (Box1) can be viewed on the portal.
