Lesson Plan Title: Solving one- step Equation Annotation: This lesson is about solving one-step equations. Students will various strategies to solve one-step equation. They will work on exercises at their desks as well as at their sits. Primary Learning Outcome: How do you solve one-step equations? Assessed QCC: 10(to Solve singe and multi-step equations, and inequalities using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.) Standard NCTM: Pattern and Relationship; Algebra Total Duration: 55min. Material and equipment: 1. Paper and pencil 2. Chalkboard Technology Connection: 1. Overhead Projector Procedures: 1. Students will write what they know about solving one- step equations in their journals. 2. Students will share what they wrote with the class. 3. Teacher will use overhead projector to discuss how to solve one-step equation. 4. Teacher will pass out solving one-step equation worksheet to each student. 5.
