How to Remove iStart123.

iStart123 Browser Hijacker – Remove
(Can effect IE, FF, Chrome)
(May see Quick Start, or V9)
One of the first things I would do is to -corrected the “target” field in each of IE, FF, and
Chrome in each place they could be launched, i.e. Desktop, taskbar, menubar, Start Menu, etc.
(Rclick on each browser’s QuickLaunch/Shortcuts, and go to Properties. Look at the targets.
Make sure this is correct. Insure there is nothing like “istart123.com in this entry.)
Try these target locations:
IE: Target: "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe". Start in: %HOMEDRIVE%%HOMEPATH%.
FF: Target: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe".
Start in: "C:\Program Files
(x86)\Mozilla Firefox".
Chrome: Target: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe". Startin:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application".

The following steps come from: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pkDpkoezSx0
Close all browsers.
Open Task Manager (Rclick TaskBar).
End Processes:
HpUI.exe
IePlugin Service
Loader32.exe
Loader64.exe
All instances of all browsers
Navigate WindowExplorer to: C:\Program Files (x86) (could be the Program Files folder w/o the 86 (i.e.
32, which has no number.) I do not yet have enough information to determine which directory this will
be under.
Find the subfolder called “Sup”, and delete it.
Empty RecycleBin.
