paragraph format.
1. Alexie keeps reiterating (repeating) the word arrogant. Does this word have a positive or
negative connotation in this essay and why? Give direct examples and sufficient
explanations to support your answer.
2. Alexie states that he “realized that a paragraph was a fence that held words.” Please
explain this quote by giving other examples from the text that support your answer.
