Justification for proposed change We are proposing a new course title to more accurately reflect the nature of the course and to allow for additional courses to be renamed. We are lowering the number of credits to reflect the work level and number of contact hours in the course. The course’s syllabus does not change from semester to semester, so students should not be allowed to repeat the course—they should instead attempt higher levels of directing study within our program.
