Utility Services Analysis and Rate Modeling

Goss Engineering is very familiar with University of California (UC) Policies and
Standards. Many of GEI’s projects are with our UC clients. For example, GEI
has had the privilege to work with many UC clients such as UC Irvine, UC
Riverside, UC Merced, UC Davis, and UC Los Angeles. GEI has the experience
working with the UC Design and Construction Team designing new buildings and
renovations as well as working with the UC Facilities and Maintenance Team
working on retrofits and upgrades. GEI’s UC project experience includes studies
(several cogeneration studies), design, master planning, peer review, forensic
engineering, cost modeling, and construction administration. Through this
experience GEI has become very familiar with various UCI standards and
policies including procurement policies and design standards.
Table 4-1 below shows some sample recent University of California, Irvine
projects. One project not highlighted in the table was our cogeneration study and
financial analysis that led to the recently constructed 20-MW cogeneration
project. Table 4-2 shows some sample recent University of California, Riverside
projects.
