Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science Summer Reading for Senior English Courses 2007-2008 Listed below are some of the book-length works included in the syllabi for senior English courses in the order they are taught by each instructor. Although students do not have to have read all the works by the beginning of school, it will help with time management to read as many as possible during the summer. While Mr. Carter and Mrs. Richardson teach many of the same titles, a few works are different. Since students do not receive their class schedules until school begins, they are advised to read the common works first and then the ones separately assigned. Sometimes students like to buy their own copies of the texts, but all the books will be provided for students at school. Students might check out copies from their local libraries for summer reading.
