Christina Pantin Southeast Asia and Pacific Editor Thomson Reuters In more than 20 years at Reuters, Malaysia-born Christina Pantin has worked in New York, Dallas, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangalore and Hanoi as a company news specialist correspondent and editor. Ms. Pantin has covered breaking news on U.S. companies, Wall Street, the funds industry, the bombing in Oklahoma City as well as political and economic news in Malaysia and Vietnam. In 2004, she set up a 70 member newsroom in Bangalore to offshore reporting of U.S. corporate news. In her current job as editor of Southeast Asia and Pacific, Ms. Pantin oversees the budget, training, career development and safety for the region’s staff. Ms. Pantin is a brand ambassador for Thomson Reuters and editorial, representing the company at external events with INSEAD and the Investment Management Association of Singapore. She has hosted internal client events with leaders such as Singapore’s Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew and Thai Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva. She is a core operations member of the women’s network at Thomson Reuters and an active mentor. Christina has a master’s degree in international affairs from Columbia University and a BA in journalism from West Virginia University.
