September 21-25
This Week’s Skills
READING
This week we will continue to answer
questions about stories: who, what, where,
when, why, and how. We will locate
evidence in passages. We will also make
predictions.
SPELLING
This week we will spell words with unk,
ush, ump word families. We will also spell
high frequency words.
ENGLISH We will form and use plurals
ending in “y” and “fe”.
MATH
We will work on place value of
ones, tens, and hundreds. We will write
numbers in different forms.

Monday – Write spelling words 3 times each
Tuesday – Write spelling words once then write
them a second time in ABC order
Wednesday – Write 5 sentences using spelling
words
Thursday – Ask an adult to give you a practice
test in homework notebook.
