Interview for Maxwell Kane for After the Kidnapping
Criminal: Killer Kane
Witness: Maxwell Kane
Police: Max, do you know why you’re here today?
Maxwell Kane: Yeah, you want me to talk to you about my dad.
Police: What do you remember about the night that your dad almost killed another
person?
Maxwell Kane: I was tied in the basement of this old warehouse.
Police: why were you in an old warehouse?
Maxwell Kane: Ummm… I don’t know let me think; maybe because my dad came into
my room on Christmas Eve and kidnapped me.
Police: So when did Loretta Lee come in and try to save you from your father?
Maxwell Kane: Right when my dad left for Loretta’s husband, but then he came back
urgently… I think he figured out the plan. Then he started strangling her. I tried to
stop him, but then he started strangling me and that’s when my friend Freak came in
with…
Police: Wait, Wait, Wait who is Freak?!
Maxwell Kane: He is my best Friend… like I said he came to the rescue like all the
other times. He was like, “don’t move this is very dangerous stuff that came make you
blind,” and that old fart actually fell for it.
Police: Why did you not even try to get out away from when you had the chances?
Maxwell Kane: I was afraid of him. I saw what he did to my mom.
Police: What do you mean you saw what he did to your mom?
Maxwell Kane: I was there the night he killed her.
Police: Do you remember anything from that night of your mother’s death?
Maxwell Kane: Yeah, I was laying in my bed and all the sudden I hear horrid
screaming coming from their bedroom, so I ran to their room and I got there and he
had his hands around her neck. The guy I thought that couldn’t hurt a soul was there
killing my own mother. I couldn’t think of anything to do, but then as I knew it I was
running to my window. I opened it and started yelling and then I was balling. My face
was all wet. By the time anyone got to the house she was a goner.
Police: Sorry kid nobody should have to see that in there life.
