Director, Networks Marketing Sony International Television Location: Los Angeles, CA Reports to: Executive Director, Networks Marketing Hiring Manger Contact: Lauren Welsh (MIBS’97), Lauren_Welsch@spe.sony.com Direct Quarterly Package process with International Networks Facilitate the collection, compilation and review of marketing materials from each channel Facilitate best practice section from Channels and other SPTI departments Oversee distribution back to all channels, regional offices and network/ad sales department Manage calls to discuss recent quarter, identifying successes and challenges Provide marketing support to international territories for AXN, SET, and ANIMAX New launch planning /execution with regional counterparts Managing regularly scheduled update calls with marketing departments channels to be aware of local activities, facilitate network needs in US Sharing marketing ideas with the teams and collaborate on how to provide the best services based on the on the markets Facilitate the project management for Network Marketing and International Channel Portfolio Management of SPTI portfolio and individual majority owned channel collateral, trade advertising and video for business development, programming and ad sales Strategic planning and writing briefs with key copy points for collateral materials, writing of collateral material on projects as needed Facilitate the distribution to channels, regional offices and network department Support Exec Director on brand initiatives (i.e. graphic packages, brand manuals, annual channel meetings and industry events) Manage printed and online brand manuals for key SPTI brands (AXN, SET & ANIMAX) Support Global initiatives Channel Launch planning to include press events, collateral needs (EPK, web microsites, collateral, etc.), and legal clearances Manage Off Air Marketing, Press and Talent initiatives within SPTI department Manage requests from marketing and ad sales departments: promotion review, talent interviews, talent endorsements, legal clearances, ad pub materials, collateral Coordinate with marketing resources on SPTI and non-SPTI product Develop and manage studio and production company relationships to fulfill non SPTI product requests for promotion and talent opportunities Develop and manage across Sony departments/divisions in support of integrated opportunities Advertising Sales Supervising Ad Sales Preview events Management of studio to studio marketing contacts in fulfillment of promotions Knowledge/ Skill Qualifications Bilingual language skills a plus. Marketing experience within entertainment industry, studio is a plus Experience in project management with focus on getting the job done on time, on budget and to Sony quality standards International marketing experience, general understanding of international marketplace/practices Ability to multi-task is essential. Must have strong creative instincts and an eye for detail. Must be a dynamic team-player with strong verbal and writing skills and be comfortable working with and presenting to a variety of management levels Must be proficient at MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint
