The robots developed artificial intelligence and became uncomfortable around the illogical loonies, so they genetically enhanced the intelligence of the animals and made them the caretakers of the humans. The world of Halfworld was divided between a fertile forest and the sterile steel plains of the robots, who constructed prosthetics for the animal guardians and parts for the Loonie's toys, and began to labor on a huge humanoid starship. The Loonies lived in blissful madness until the Toy War between Jakes and Dyvyne erupted. Due to Ranger Rocket's valiant efforts and Uncle Pyko's deciphering of the psychiatric diary called the Halfworld Bible, the loonies were cured. About Marvel UK Marvel UK were a group of series created by the British section of Marvel. I don´t remember all series but I know that among them were Death´s Head II, Dark Angel, Warheads, Motormouth and Killpower, and Knights of Pendragon. I followed only DH2, though I have a few issues of some of the others, and since they had multiple crossovers among them (like Mystech Wars, Battletide, etc) that I got I know many of the characters well. There were several underlying subplots to the series, including an ecologist crusade (Knights of Pendragon and their Green Knight) a corporate menace (Mystech) lots of time and dimensional travelling (most characters had travelling powers) and a darker tone (though tinted with humor) than the normal Marvel Universe. Mystech, perhaps the most important baddies of the Marvel UK Universe (along with Bane of the Knights of Pendragon, but I know little of it) was a corporation lead by a cabal of 1,000 year-old magicians serving Mephisto, and based in England. They were necromancers and technomages, very nasty. The Warheads worked for them, Dark Angel opposed them, they created Killpower and DH2 was always running in their plots. The Dark Guard was about the last thing Marvel UK published, it gathered many of the characters in a group trying to stop Mystech at the service of a "Time Guardian" character. Death's Head I: DH1 had a really weird career, meeting Dr. Who, the Transformers, She-Hulk and the 4F before being destroyed by Minion, an AIM cyborg from the future, the body he has now. Then he went to kill Mr. Fantastic (failed, of course) and to become a major troublemaker. He has meet in both friendly and unfriendly terms with almost everybody in the MU, from the X-Men to Nick Fury to Dr. Strange.
