What we Believe
Articles of Faith
Kings Bible College & Seminary (KBCS) is a Bible-believing institution which
accepts the following declarations as being taught in Scripture. Thus, they are
accepted by us as truth and authoritatively reliable.
• The inspiration and authority of Scripture
• One God, subsisting in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
• The creation of the human race in the image of God
• The fall of man and resultant human depravity
• The deity of Christ, His incarnation, atoning death, and bodily resurrection
• Salvation by the grace of God alone through faith in Jesus Christ alone
• One holy Christian church, the Body of Christ
• The second coming of Jesus Christ and the consummation of all things
Core Values
We affirm the authority of the Bible and believe in the integration of faith,
learning,
and ministry. We endorse the practice of distance education as a significant
contributor to the educational needs of the religious and global community.
Wise men lay up knowledge ProverbS 10:14
Mission Statement (Purpose)
• To provide a forum of true Christian education, premised upon our foundation,
the Word of God.
• To honor the Lord Jesus Christ in obedience to the leading and directing of the
Holy Spirit.
We recognize that wisdom originates with God, and is not necessarily synonymous
with knowledge. God's wisdom, based on the original Hebrew language of
the Old Testament, is discernment coupled with understanding, which culminates
in intelligence, as read in Proverbs 9:10. Proverbs 9:9 clarifies 9:10 by stating:
"Give instruction to a wise man and he will yet be wiser. Teach a just man and he
will increase in learning." Learning is a life-long process, which is supported and
strengthened by study (2 Timothy 2:15). Accordingly, we provide a forum for our
students to obtain a quality education in Biblical wisdom by providing practical
courses. In the admonition given by the Apostle Paul to his student, Timothy, there
is an urgency to continue in that which he had learned (2 Timothy 3:14). This is the
heart of the KBCS curriculum.
Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts:
and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know
wisdom Psalm 51:6
About Our President
Rev. Dr. Prince A. King, Th.D.
Executive Director-Founder & C.E.O.
D
r. P.A. King was born in Nassau 1966. He felt God's call of salvation at the
age of seven years old, when his life was impacted by the Evangelism out reach of
the Pentecostal Temple C.O.G.I.C. Showing of the movie “ The burning hell”
Eventually, he was saved and baptized, (in June 1984). In the year 1996 He felt
God's call on his life to preach. He answered that call, and in the year 2000 on
Sunday November 2nd was ordained as an Elder in the Church of God in Christ
(Bahamas Jurisdiction headquarters in Memphis Tennessee) to the gospel ministry
by the late Bishop Rt. Rev. William Grant. Dr. King founded the Children’s
Bread Ministries in July 2006 and on Sunday December 31st 2006, was installed as
the Sr. Pastor where he is now Pastoring and doing Evangelistic work Part of the
time, Dr. King has a burdened to start a movement of independent preachers and
churches who loved the Lord more than the man-made rules he found in many
churches. Therefore, he has envisioned founding an Independent Bible College.
(IBC)...God has blessed his efforts. It is the goal of this College to train ministers
and the body of Christ as a whole throughout the Bahamas and the Caribbean.
Dr. King received his degree from Bethlehem School Of Theology and Smith
Christian University Fort Lauderdale Florida. Doctor King feels strongly that God
has called him to start this school. God has greatly blessed us with the instructors
whom He has provided. Each one is a gifted teacher; and, all of them love God.
Our prayer at Kings Bible College & Seminary (KBCS) is that the students will
enjoy their studies and use the knowledge they learn here to win lost souls for our
Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
Hosea 4:6
A Message from our President
D
r. King
I am delighted to have you consider KBCS as your place of study. There are many
fine Christian institutions from which you could achieve your goals; and, we dare
not boast that our College is better than all the others. But we do believe that we
are on par with them and can assure you that if you choose our school, you will be
the recipient of a Christ-centered, Bible-oriented program of studies. What is
distinct about KBCS? Our format and curriculum is distance learning.
We provide Education through emerging technologies, via our interactive
website, power point presentations, pdf and ms.word file formats. If you miss a
class we will have a recording of that class. A pass word is required however, and
will only be given to students who are 1.financially up to date in tuition fees, and
2. have a reasonable excuse for missing the class concerned or due to illness. For
online students: You are not required to leave your home or job and spend time at a
traditional College or seminary campus. Furthermore, there is no need for you to
spend your life savings to earn a degree.
Ours is a place where, if you do not wish to work toward a degree, you may
enroll in our Diploma of Biblical Studies Program. The diploma and degree
programs are now available for you as you set up your own pursuit of studies, and
may be completed at your own pace and place. We have a no-interest time
payment plan, including incentives. Kings Bible College & Seminary is not
concerned with worldly praise or accolades, but with purveying knowledge to our
students and to give back to the community via scholarships and being involved in
community oriented projects in keeping with nation building. We recognize that
many ministries are seeking the believer who has attained a certain level of
Christian education exemplified in the receiving of a degree. Consequently, we
seek to provide a learning experience, which leads to spiritual growth , service to
mankind and which honors God at the same time. May God bless you in your
endeavors and lead you by the ministry of the Holy Spirit as you magnify the
Person of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The rich and poor meet together: the Lord is the
maker of them all. Proverbs 22:2

Every applicant is provided with serious consideration, regardless of sex, age,
race, national or ethnic origin. Each applicant is evaluated for placement on the
basis of a complete academic record, life service, and other personal data. In
consideration of academic record, only those courses receiving a passing grade will

they must send those records to us as an officially-sealed transcript. However, they
may begin study with us on the basis that their transcripts will be forthcoming,
prior to the consummation of that first course.

grade achieved:
Grade Determination Quality Points

Financial Information
Our school's budget is neither subsidized by the Government nor the recipient
of any form of endowment. We prefer not to be regulated by any secular
organization. Our direction and guidance come from the Holy Spirit.
Consequently, we are dependent upon student tuition and the gifts of God's people
for the support of this ministry. This school policy enables us to offer a quality
and un-compromised Christian education to our student body.
Our purpose in this matter of finances is to provide a financial package, which
shall not be a burden to any student. We believe that our cost structure is the
lowest, when compared to similar institutions. Upon looking at a plethora of
colleges and seminaries, we intentionally determined to offer our students a lowcost format. In consideration of the low financial program, we still offer students a
number of incentives designed to assist all students with their financial obligations.

Life Experience Credit
For Undergraduate and Graduate Degrees
We at KBCS are on the ground floor of a widespread trend in American education,
which is being utilized in many outstanding campuses in both secular and
Christian schools. Learning institutions are now offering their students credit for
their life's experiences. We appreciate that many of our students have invested
much of their lives serving the Lord, and we want to reward them for their efforts.
Accordingly, upon request, students may be granted up to forty percent of credit
hours toward their degrees. We evaluate each request for credit hours upon
receipt of application.
Adding or Dropping Courses
A student may add or drop a course, provided the request is sent to us first. Any
added course must fit the student's program.
Course Repeating Policy
Should a student be concerned about receiving too low a grade, he/she may
request an opportunity to repeat the course at a minimal fee. The second grade
replaces the first for the purposes of calculating the cumulative grade point average
(GPA) on the student's record. No student will be allowed to graduate with an
“F” or incomplete in a required course. Any undergraduate student accumulating
three “F”s or incompletes will be placed in a remedial-assistance program.
Withdrawal
Any student who is not eligible for a refund and wishes to withdraw from a
program will forfeit all monies paid to KBCS.
Graduation Fees
Upon becoming eligible for graduation, the student will be notified by letter. The
letter will serve as official notice of graduation and as a statement for the collection
of the graduation fee. The fee is $100.00, and does not include the cap and
gown. The student will be given instructions on ordering those. Checks are to be
made payable to KBCS. If the student does not wish to attend the graduation
ceremony, the degree will be mailed to the student, who will be responsible for
postage and handling charges. The Diploma of Biblical Studies will be mailed to
the student with no charge, unless the student attends the graduation ceremony.
Transcripts
All courses taken at KBCS will be listed with course number, course name, course
grade, and course hours. All transfer hours will be listed by total hours transferred
into and accepted by KBCS. No course name, course number, or grade will appear
for transfer hours. Degrees earned and date of completion will appear on each
transcript. Honors earned, if any, will appear on the transcript. No alterations will
be made to transcript formats by KBCS. The format is fixed for all students. A
transcript (grade/s) and certificates will not be issued until all financial,
administrative, and academic requirements have been fully met by the student, no
exceptions.

it giveth understanding

Restoration of Reason The Eclipse and Recovery of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty
This book is a history of philosophy that is not a history of philosophy. Brown shows how major
figures in modern philosophy have restricted or reduced reason to some one function (whether
experimental or mathematical or epistemological.) Philosophers can help us to recover a fuller
appreciation of reason, but reason finds its fullest realization in the ancient and mediaeval tradition
of Plato, Aristotle, Augustine, and Aquinas. Author: Montague Brown

The Ten Commandments
Exodus 20:1-17
1 And God spake all these words, saying,
2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of
the house of bondage.
FIRST COMMANDMENT
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
SECOND COMMANDMENT
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is
in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God
am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third
and fourth generation of them that hate me;
6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my
commandments.
THIRD COMMANDMENT
7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not
hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
FOURTH COMMANDMENT
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do
any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant,
nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is,
and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and
hallowed it.
FIFTH COMMANDMENT
12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which
the LORD thy God giveth thee.
SIXTH COMMANDMENT
13 Thou shalt not kill.
SEVENTH COMMANDMENT
14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.
EIGHTH COMMANDMENT
15 Thou shalt not steal.
NINTH COMMANDMENT
16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
TENTH COMMANDMENT
17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's
wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing
that is thy neighbour's.
Facts of Salvation
• It is a fact that God loves you. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his
only begotten Son, that whosever believeth in Him Should not perish but have everlasting
life.
• It is a fact that all are lost. Romans 3:10 As it is written, there is none righteous, no
not one. Ecclesiastes 7:20 For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and
sinneth not.
• It is a fact that God loves sinners. Romans 5:8 But God commendeth His love
toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
• It is a fact that Jesus came into the world to save sinners. Luke 19:10 For the Son
of Man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
• It is a fact that we have all sinned. Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and come short
of the glory of God.
• It is a fact that Jesus is the only savior. Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any
other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be
saved. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh
unto the Father, but by me.
• It is a fact that He will save you. John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them
gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.
• It is a fact that you must repent, and be willing to change. Acts 3:19 Repent ye
therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing
shall come from the presence of the Lord.
• It is a fact that you must believe in your heart and confess with your mouth to
be saved. Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt
believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
• It is a fact that you can become a new person now. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore
if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things
are become new.
Invite Jesus to come into your heart now. Be willing to change your life.
