Thus, they are accepted by us as truth and authoritatively reliable. • The inspiration and authority of Scripture • One God, subsisting in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit • The creation of the human race in the image of God • The fall of man and resultant human depravity • The deity of Christ, His incarnation, atoning death, and bodily resurrection • Salvation by the grace of God alone through faith in Jesus Christ alone • One holy Christian church, the Body of Christ • The second coming of Jesus Christ and the consummation of all things Core Values We affirm the authority of the Bible and believe in the integration of faith, learning, and ministry. We endorse the practice of distance education as a significant contributor to the educational needs of the religious and global community. Wise men lay up knowledge ProverbS 10:14 Mission Statement (Purpose) • To provide a forum of true Christian education, premised upon our foundation, the Word of God. • To honor the Lord Jesus Christ in obedience to the leading and directing of the Holy Spirit. We recognize that wisdom originates with God, and is not necessarily synonymous with knowledge. God's wisdom, based on the original Hebrew language of the Old Testament, is discernment coupled with understanding, which culminates in intelligence, as read in Proverbs 9:10. Proverbs 9:9 clarifies 9:10 by stating: "Give instruction to a wise man and he will yet be wiser. Teach a just man and he will increase in learning." Learning is a life-long process, which is supported and strengthened by study (2 Timothy 2:15). Accordingly, we provide a forum for our students to obtain a quality education in Biblical wisdom by providing practical courses. In the admonition given by the Apostle Paul to his student, Timothy, there is an urgency to continue in that which he had learned (2 Timothy 3:14). This is the heart of the KBCS curriculum. Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom Psalm 51:6 About Our President Rev. Dr. Prince A. King, Th.D. Executive Director-Founder & C.E.O. D r. P.A. King was born in Nassau 1966. He felt God's call of salvation at the age of seven years old, when his life was impacted by the Evangelism out reach of the Pentecostal Temple C.O.G.I.C. Showing of the movie “ The burning hell” Eventually, he was saved and baptized, (in June 1984). In the year 1996 He felt God's call on his life to preach. He answered that call, and in the year 2000 on Sunday November 2nd was ordained as an Elder in the Church of God in Christ (Bahamas Jurisdiction headquarters in Memphis Tennessee) to the gospel ministry by the late Bishop Rt. Rev. William Grant. Dr. King founded the Children’s Bread Ministries in July 2006 and on Sunday December 31st 2006, was installed as the Sr. Pastor where he is now Pastoring and doing Evangelistic work Part of the time, Dr. King has a burdened to start a movement of independent preachers and churches who loved the Lord more than the man-made rules he found in many churches. Therefore, he has envisioned founding an Independent Bible College. (IBC)...God has blessed his efforts. It is the goal of this College to train ministers and the body of Christ as a whole throughout the Bahamas and the Caribbean. Dr. King received his degree from Bethlehem School Of Theology and Smith Christian University Fort Lauderdale Florida. Doctor King feels strongly that God has called him to start this school. God has greatly blessed us with the instructors whom He has provided. Each one is a gifted teacher; and, all of them love God. Our prayer at Kings Bible College & Seminary (KBCS) is that the students will enjoy their studies and use the knowledge they learn here to win lost souls for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Hosea 4:6 A Message from our President D r. King I am delighted to have you consider KBCS as your place of study. There are many fine Christian institutions from which you could achieve your goals; and, we dare not boast that our College is better than all the others. But we do believe that we are on par with them and can assure you that if you choose our school, you will be the recipient of a Christ-centered, Bible-oriented program of studies. What is distinct about KBCS? Our format and curriculum is distance learning. We provide Education through emerging technologies, via our interactive website, power point presentations, pdf and ms.word file formats. If you miss a class we will have a recording of that class. A pass word is required however, and will only be given to students who are 1.financially up to date in tuition fees, and 2. have a reasonable excuse for missing the class concerned or due to illness. For online students: You are not required to leave your home or job and spend time at a traditional College or seminary campus. Furthermore, there is no need for you to spend your life savings to earn a degree. Ours is a place where, if you do not wish to work toward a degree, you may enroll in our Diploma of Biblical Studies Program. The diploma and degree programs are now available for you as you set up your own pursuit of studies, and may be completed at your own pace and place. We have a no-interest time payment plan, including incentives. Kings Bible College & Seminary is not concerned with worldly praise or accolades, but with purveying knowledge to our students and to give back to the community via scholarships and being involved in community oriented projects in keeping with nation building. We recognize that many ministries are seeking the believer who has attained a certain level of Christian education exemplified in the receiving of a degree. Consequently, we seek to provide a learning experience, which leads to spiritual growth , service to mankind and which honors God at the same time. May God bless you in your endeavors and lead you by the ministry of the Holy Spirit as you magnify the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ. The rich and poor meet together: the Lord is the maker of them all. Proverbs 22:2 Introducing those Who Serve You. SECOND COMMANDMENT 4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. THIRD COMMANDMENT 7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. FOURTH COMMANDMENT 8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. FIFTH COMMANDMENT 12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. SIXTH COMMANDMENT 13 Thou shalt not kill. SEVENTH COMMANDMENT 14 Thou shalt not commit adultery. EIGHTH COMMANDMENT 15 Thou shalt not steal. NINTH COMMANDMENT 16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. TENTH COMMANDMENT 17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.
