This title, first published in 1938, is now in its 14th
edition. Comprises an exhaustive collection of
standardized measurements and tests. Each volume
includes reviews and descriptions of those tests that are
new or substantially revised since the previous edition.
Newer editions supplement and update rather than
supercede subsequent editions.

This is the second edition of a work, first published in
1985, described as "the first comprehensive treatment of
psychology from a Christian point of view." Most
entries contain references, and See references, and some
will also contain additional reading references.
Press. Cross-references within articles point readers to
related entries. Many entries contain extensive
bibliographies. Consult the Synoptic Outline of
Contents in Volume 8 for comprehensive coverage of a

Journals in Psychology: A Resource Listing for

behavioral and social sciences) to consider" when
searching for a publisher. This 5th edition covers 355
journal titles. A typical entry provides journal title,
publisher, editor, editorial policy, selective notes on
submissions, journal frequency, articles/pages published
per year, total subscribers, book reviews accepted (yes or
no), and rejection rate.

series, is to "identify every legal topic that affects mental
health practice in the state of Pennsylvania." Each topic
is presented as the subject of a chapter. Each chapter, in
turn, describes the legal standards that the mental health
practitioner (MHP) will be practicing under, and the
relevant legal process that the MHP will be operating
within. If the state does not have relevant law on an
issue, then a brief explanation of how the law works in
other states is presented with a notation stating this.

DSM was first published in 1952 as "the first official
manual of mental disorders to focus on clinical utility."
Information presented for individual entries include
some or all of the following: description of the disorder;

disorders; specific culture, age, and gender features;
prevalence; course; and differential diagnosis. The
