WELCOME to the ‘Jacqui T School of Dance’.
Please find, in this
booklet, information pertaining to the Jacqui T School of Dance Year
2011.
MISSION
Our school’s mission is to help students to become more confident,
coordinated, appreciate the importance of exercise, make new
friends, and enjoy every experience. Our school strives to engage in
the overall development of an individual - physically, intellectually
and emotionally.
OUR AIM is to help students to develop grace, composure and
style. It also provides a fun way to exercise and get rid of stress. We,
as teachers pride ourselves in being approachable to both students
and parents and in helping students of all abilities, including the
encouragement of special needs children.
OUR SCHOOL has been open for over 16 years and
encourages and teaches enthusiasts from the age of 2yrs & above.
At the end of each year the school puts on a performance for family
and friends, giving students a great sense of achievement for all their
hard work and effort throughout the year.

CLASS GUIDE
Classes consist mainly of modern music. Students do approximately
10-15 minutes of stretch and flexibility which also helps to tone the
body and help with balance. Then students take part in corner steps
to help with co-ordination and travel across the floor. The remainder
of each class is used to work on routines which helps with memory
and gives a sense of achievement to students knowing they have left
the class learning something. We generally teach according to the
majority of preference by the students and parents while still
maintaining an all-round base of styles. The classes consist of both
experienced and beginner students and each level are catered for in
a very relaxed environment.

BABIES – This class is being provided as a means of introducing
the little ones to dance in a playful environment. Classes are made
up of games and exercises catered to the very young. It is run on a
per term rate, at a lowered cost of $5 per lesson, due to being a
shortened class. Some children, although 4 & under, may be more
suited to the sub-junior class. This class is FREE to students who
have older siblings attending other classes within The Jacqui T
School Of Dance.
ZUMBA & PILATES - These are casual classes and are being
run predominately as an adult class only. Cost - $14 per casual
class or $24 for both. Discounts cards are available at $55 per card
of 5 classes or $100 per card of 10 lessons. These cards are highly
recommended. Firstly to receive a discount and secondly as an
incentive to keep up with a healthy exercise regime  They are also
