Self-Assessment (1-2 pages): A succinct and honest assessment of your creative work and effort over
the past semester. You may comment on: your writing process, how reading informs the way you write,
risks you took or challenges you took on, craft elements you've developed/added to your repertoire,
goals you met or weren't able to, difficulties you faced, how your “Why I Write” perspective may have
changed, how your understanding of creative writing may have evolved—including your understanding
of yourself as a writer.
Final Portfolios are due at the beginning of class on Tuesday, May 14th
