‫א‪ .‬תיאור הקורס‪:‬‬
‫הקורס מקנה תשתית מושגית תיאורטית להבנת היחסים הבינלאומיים בני‪-‬זמננו‪ .‬הוא מתחיל בהצגת‬
‫התחום‪ ,‬מהותו‪ ,‬גבולותיו‪ ,‬והתפתחותו ההיסטורית‪ .‬חלקו הבא עוסק בתיאוריה המודרנית הכוללת‬
‫גישות כמו הגישה הריאליסטית הליברלית‪-‬מוסדית והמרקסיסטית‪ .‬הקורס דן בשחקנים כמו מדינת‪-‬‬
‫הלאום‪ ,‬מעצמות‪ ,‬ארגונים בינלאומיים וחוץ‪-‬לאומיים‪ ,‬חברות רב‪-‬לאומיות‪ ,‬ותנועות אידיאולוגיות‪.‬‬
‫לאחר מכן‪ ,‬מוצגת מתודולוגיה להערכת עוצמתם ויעדיהם של השחקנים השונים‪ ,‬ובעיקר של מדינת‪-‬‬
‫הלאום‪ .‬בהמשך ידונו האמצעים והכלים שבהם משתמשים השחקנים להשגת יעדיהם כמו מלחמה‪,‬‬
‫דיפלומטיה ומו"מ‪ ,‬הסברה ותעמולה‪ ,‬סנקציות כלכליות וסיוע‪-‬חוץ‪ .‬הקורס עוסק גם במערכות ותת‪-‬‬
‫מערכות בינלאומיות‪ ,‬בתהליכים ותופעות כמו תלות‪-‬הדדית ומשטרים בינלאומיים‪ ,‬ובגורמים‬
‫המשפיעים על עיצוב מדיניות החוץ‪ .‬תשומת לב ניתנת גם לבעיות מרכזיות ביחסים הבינלאומיים‬
‫המודרניים כמו זכויות‪-‬האדם‪ ,‬איכות הסביבה וכד'‪ .‬הסיכום עוסק במושג "הסדר העולמי החדש"‪,‬‬
‫ובעתיד מדינת‪-‬הלאום‪.‬‬
