 “Home – a – Loan” – worked with a speech therapist to assemble take home bags containing
materials to help families follow up on speech therapy goals in the home, 2008
 “Preschool, Preschool Very Caring” – purchased plants, seeds, bulbs, and tools for preschoolers
to use to plant a garden in front of Abingdon Elementary School, 2004
 “Author, Author,” - purchased software for students to write books and to publish teacherwritten big and little books, 2000
 “Storybook Garden,” - began a school garden featuring sections relating to literature, 2000
 “Table Talkers,” - created a class business to produce table tents on the computer with cheery
messages and pictures to be displayed in local businesses, 1999
 “Mathpacks”, - assembled take home packs with math-related books, manipulatives and
journals, 1998
