Significant Accomplishments include :
 Advertising plan has been done and ready to run on opening date. Budget for the
campaign should be under expected plan.
 Bank loan has been approved and the first amount of money has been transferred into
account.
 Lease contact has been agreed and signed by both parties. Site is now ready for
renovating.
 Electric and telephone with internet service have been connected

Non – Technical Issues
Number of Customers.
Number of customers will effect on the number of computers servicing in shops. Managers should
track records every day and forecast what trend of customers’ number for next week or month. Not
enough number of computers will loose chance on sale but on the other hand too many computers
will create unnecessary costs.
Financial Management
Managers should analyse how much cash they want to operate daily cost or future investment. Too
much cash on hand will increase interest rates but on the other hand not enough cash will cause
trouble in running business.

Technical Issues
 Internet speed and usage. Managers have to make sure that an ISP provides quality and
reliability of internet. An internet plan should be flexible so they can extend usage if
exceeding usage’s limit. This is all agreed upon in the SLA.
 System maintenance. System down will largely effect on business. Managers should
monitor system and if necessary make plan for upgrade system. This can also be provided
from the ISP.

Competitors
New competitors would take market share away if they can meet customer’s need. So mangers
should survey market need and provide a new or better service that meets their demand. The
services provided so be at the best standards.
Technology Change
New technology will affect on sale and competitive advantage. For example, self service’s
ringtone machine. Managers should study new technology and plan for investment if the
technology is ready. There is a lot of costs associated with technology shifts.

Explain the following terms.
Deliverable:
Deliverable refers to something (service) that can be delivered, such as a product or service. In
the management of a project it means the physical items to be delivered for a project, for
examples, organization attributes, reports and plans, as well as, physical products or objects.
Physical items or measurable outputs that are identified as part of the projects product or
objectives. Deliverables include intermediate products or services that are necessary for

achieving the projects final results. Deliverables are always measurable because they can be
counted or observed in some way.
Project feasibility
A Project feasibility is a documented expression of what their researches have told them about a
particular project problems to see if it is actually feasible to implement with the currently
imposed restraints. It helps them determine the validity or scope of a proposed project or a
section of a project. The project feasibility study takes place during a project initiation phase and
is made before significant expenses are engaged It is often written with upper management in
mind, so they’re direct, organized, and generally factual rather than opinionated.
Executive steering committee
The top management team responsible for developing and sustaining the process management
approach in the organization, including selecting and evaluating reengineering projects. This
committee is in charge of “steering” the project in the right direction.
Project organizational structure
A project is done to design organization structure, for example, organization chart, organization
hierarchy, allocation of resources and decision-making within organization. This structure helps
organize the project in a formal manner.
Project life cycle
Project life cycle defines project management as the application of knowledge, skills, tools and
techniques to project activities to meet project requirements. These are the fundamental rules
applied to a project to maintain integrity throughout the life cycle of the project.
The sequence of phase through which the project will evolve. It is absolutely fundamental to the
management of projects. It will significantly affect how the project is structured. The basic life
cycle follows a common generic sequence: Opportunity, Design and Development, Production,
Hand-over, and Post-Project evaluation.
Systems analysis
A systematic investigation of a real or planned system to determine the functions of the system
and how they relate to each other and to any other system. This analysis is performed on a
particular system to break-down the different workings of the intended system.
