be scheduled to work a variety of shifts/tasks so must be available on weekends and holidays.

Description of housing:
There is availability for 4 students to live at accommodations provided by the
employer. The remaining students will live in the shared housing provided by I-2 as described below:
Students will be living at multiple furnished apartment complexes and will be assigned to housing and location
based on a first come, first serve basis. Apartments come equipped with bed/air mattress, heat/air
conditioning, private bathroom, and cooking. Students will be placed two per bedroom; limited exceptions
may apply. Housing location will depend on availability, distance to work, access to public transportation, and
will be confirmed two weeks prior to student’s arrival.
International House is a dorm style facility and may use bunk beds. Rooms are assigned according to gender.

Special requests can be made in writing but are not guaranteed.
Most apartment complexes have designated areas with Internet access; see the attached web pages for
details. Apartments are furnished. See Sublease Agreement for more details.
More information will be provided 14-30 days before arrival.
Housing costs:
$360-$380 per month. This cost includes up to $150 per month of the following utilities:
phone, heat, water, and air conditioning.
1st month rent and security deposit payment is due upon arrival/check in. Security deposit equals the amount
of one month rent, $360.00-$380.00. Student will not be allowed to move in without making a full housing
payment ($720-$760.00 total). Balance of rent will be paid by voluntary payroll deduction.
Security deposit will be refunded by check and mailed to student’s home country via postal service within 30
days after apartment is fully vacated.
The representative of the housing property will determine charges. Mandatory charges include: professional
carpet cleaning of $30.00 and $35.00 administration fee.
Required To Use Housing: Yes
All 1st year students are required by employers to live in housing secured by I-2.
Returning students may arrange housing on their own; however, the following information must be confirmed
in writing by March 1, 2012: housing address, contact name & telephone number for verification. Housing
conditions must be approved and will be confirmed with student via e-mail. Students living on their own are
responsible for transportation to and from work.

Job Description:
Duties: cashier, coffee-maker, sandwich-maker, cleaning, sweeping and mopping the store, stocking and
general help. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and should expect to stand for extended periods of time.
Students may be rotated between the above responsibilities based on business needs. On-job training
provided. Students must be friendly, clean, polite, hardworking, and have a personable and positive attitude.
Must possess excellent customer service skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Will
be scheduled to work a variety of shifts/tasks and must be available on weekends and holidays.

Four students arriving in mid June through 9/30 will be living in housing provided by employer at Briarcrest
Gardens in Hershey. For more details see the Employers Attachment and the Sub-Lease Agreement. More
information will be provided 14-30 days prior to student’s arrival.
