“Sweets for the Body and Soul!” This month it will be held on Friday, February 5 th 7-8:30pm. This monthly
Bible Study meets at the Troy Campus in Room 115 from 7-8:30 pm usually on the first Friday of each month.
Here’s a real treat for everyone! Just come and enjoy some sweets for your body and some nourishment for your soul. There is no need to RSVP and it’s free. Just come and meet some new friends, enjoy tasty snacks, and learn Bible-based life lessons for your soul.
Enter through the west door of the 3-story Educational Wing of the Troy Campus and go down the hallway to the first room on your left, Room 115. Take that “Next Step” and experience a unique evening with others.
Weekly Small Group meetings on Thursdays This small group discussion time is for YOU! We meet in
Room 203 at the Troy Campus. We cover specific topics that are relevant and unique to singles. Please call

Beginner Line Dancing Classes Every Thursday, 6-7 pm Troy Campus Room 304 Beginning Line Dancing
Use the elevator located near the big orange slide in the main lobby to reach the 3rd floor. It’s only $6 per session. Mark your calendars and don’t miss out! Wear comfortable shoes (No high heels or black sole shoes on the dance floor, please). No need to RSVP, just show up! ATTENTION: NO LINE DANCING ON 2-20 AND 2-25!
If you would like, and you still have some energy left, for an additional $5, you may also stay later for the regular Line Dancing Class which goes from 7-8:30 pm every Thursday. Any questions? Intermediate Line Dancing Classes Thursdays 7- 8:30 pm Troy Campus in Rm. 304 Use the elevator located near the big orange slide in the main lobby to reach the 3rd floor. Orion Beginner Line Dancing Class meets every Saturday Morning at the Orion Campus from 10-11:30 am
in Rm. 1100 of the Kid's Wing. You may want to bring a water bottle with you and wear comfortable leathersoled shoes, if possible. There is no need to RSVP. Just show up with $6, get some great exercise, and have lots of fun! Again, if you have any questions, please call your instructor, Doug at 586-246-4243.

Euchre Night on Saturday, February 6th, from 6:45 -10 pm at the Troy Campus in Room 304 Join us at 6:45 pm for friendly games of Euchre including special food and prizes! We'll meet on the 3rd floor of the Troy
Campus in Room 304 after the 5:30 pm evening service. Just use the elevator near the big orange slide in the main lobby.
Games will begin at 7 pm so please arrive by 6:45 pm to register. Bring $10 which will cover Euchre
Registration, Prizes, and a Dinner consisting of your choice of delicious specially made Motown Soups, fresh tossed salad, yummy bread-sticks, and a decadent dessert. If you want something besides water, then bring your own non-alcoholic beverage. If you don't know how to play Euchre, that's okay. We'll have a table where you can learn!

Saturday, February, 13th Valentine's Cupid Dance at the San Marino Club, 1685 E. Big Beaver in Troy
Encore will be joining Successfully Single's for a great evening of fun, food and dancing. Meet, Mingle, and
Dance the night away to the Top 40's by a professional DJ.
There will be a FREE romantic Rumba Lesson by the extraordinary Tino Maggio from 8-8:45 pm, an elegant Hors d'oeuvre Buffet from 8:45-9:45 pm, and Open Dancing from 9-Midnight. Be sure to reserve your seat by Friday, February 12th.
So that we can save you a seat, please RSVP as soon as possible. When you arrive, pay $15 and ask for
"Encore." Dressy Casual Attire is suggested. Wear some red in your outfit for a possible door prize!

Sunday, February 14th Clarkston Campus Morning Services Encore will have a table in the lobby of the
Clarkston Campus on Sunday, Feb. 14th, before and after both services, which are at 9:30 am and 11:15 am.
Stop by and say, "Hi!" Look for our large blue Encore Sign by our table.
***If you'd like to attend the 11:15 am service together with us, be sure to meet us at the table in the lobby at 11 am and we will go into the service and sit together.
***Stay after and join others for “Be a Valentine to a Senior Day” at 1 pm. (See below)
Sunday, February 14th from 1-3 pm – “Be a Valentine to a Senior” Day!
Let's all meet in the lobby of the Clarkston Specialty Healthcare Center, located at 4800 Clintonville Rd. at 1 pm. We'll stroll around, spread cheer, and deliver some specially made valentines to the seniors there.

Friday, February 26 th Comedy for a Cause Woodside Bible Church Encore will not be meeting as a group for this event. However, it is a worthy cause and we highly recommend that you mark your calendars and check it out. It’s free! Well-known comedians entertain you for the evening at Woodside Bible Church, 6600
Rochester Rd in Troy just north of Square Lake Rd. A benefit love offering will be taken for Promise Village, a
Residential Treatment Center for At- Risk & Struggling Boys. Get ready to giggle - Have some fun! Doors open at 6 - Show begins at 7 pm. Let us know if you are going and if you’d like to meet someone else there.
Saturday, February 27th - Dinner and Movie Night at Uno's on Mound just south of M-59! Let's meet for dinner together at 5 pm. During dinner, we'll decide which movie each of us would like to see and then we'll group up with those of us who wish to see the same movie at the nearby AMC Theater. A list of the current movies will be provided to choose from.
After the movie, you're encouraged to join us back at Uno's for coffee and perhaps dessert to share our movie experiences with each other. Reservations at Uno's will be under "Encore." So that we can save you a seat for dinner, please RSVP by Friday, February 26th.
