The Revd Dr Sheryl M Anderson – the Connexional Team person, working in Discipleship and

Mr Richard Armiger – Training Officer and tutor at the Guy Chester Centre, experience of enabling
people to consider vocational discernment.
The Revd Alan R Boyd – Experienced Superintendent Minister who has served MCSC previously and
brings wide experience to the process of candidature.

offices in the life of a church and Circuit in South London.
The Revd Prof Teddy Kalongo - currently serving the Vale of Glamorgan circuit, has experience both of
Ministerial training and the World Church having previously served as Principal of the United Church
of Zambia Theological College in Kitwe and as General Secretary of the United Church of Zambia.
The Revd Dr Jane Leach – Designated as the Principal to Wesley House and researcher in Pastoral
Theology.

Deacon Claire Gill – stationed in the Victoria and Chelsea Circuit, has BA(Hons) in Theology, an MA in
Religion and Postmodernism and is studying for a PhD, researching how the Methodist Diaconal Order
understands itself as a Religious Order and this has led to a growing interest in Benedictine Spirituality.
The Revd Dr Michael J A Long – Superintendent of the Conwy & Prestatyn Circuit, has recently
obtained a PhD for his study of theological reflection upon international debt. He has served on the
Faith and Order Network since 2008.
Mrs Susan R Howdle – a former lecturer in Law at the Universities of Bristol and Sheffield, has served
the Church as Vice-President of the Conference (1993-1994) and on connexional bodies, including the
Faith and Order Committee. She is at present a member of the Law and Polity Committee and will
serve as the link between the two committees.
The Revd Ruth M Gee – Chair of the Darlington District, explored Christian concepts of parenthood
and the new reproductive technologies for her MLitt (Bristol). She chairs the working parties on
human embryology and early human life (Created in God's Image) and on the statement on abortion.
