The closing date for the Manager, Injury Management, Clerk Grade 11/12, (position no
740003) position advertised in In Orders 2009/4 has been extended. Applications may

Minor Fleet Officer, Clerk Grade 5/6
Position No: 932017. Minor Fleet Officer, Clerk Grade 5/6, Logistics Support, Fleet
Management Unit, Greenacre. Permanent Full-time. Total remuneration package
valued to $77,408 pa including salary ($63,573 – $70,146), employer’s contribution to
superannuation and leave loading.
Duties: This position manages the life cycle of the NSW Fire Brigades’ minor vehicle
fleet, which includes the commissioning, maintenance and decommissioning of
vehicles. Also, in conjunction with end-users, the position holder will develop fit-out
requirements that meet operational needs that are compliant with Australian Design
Rules.
Selection criteria: Knowledge and technical experience in the motor vehicle industry in
relation to passenger, light commercial vehicles and trailers. Experience in co-ordinating
and managing vehicle fit-out, servicing and repairs with ability to interpret functional
requirements, technical specifications, policies and standards. Demonstrated knowledge
and ability to interpret and apply Australian Design Rules and RTA regulations. Proven
track record in customer service environment together with good communication and
interpersonal skills. Demonstrated experience undertaking quality assurance processes,
risk assessments and work method statements for minor fleet vehicles. Well developed
analytical and organisational skills

Workers Compensation Officer, Clerk Grade 3/4
Position Nos: 740108 & 740107. Workers Compensation, Health and Safety, Sydney.
Permanent Full–time (two positions). Total remuneration package valued to $65,072 pa
including salary ($53,855-$58,969), employer’s contribution to superannuation and
leave loading.
Duties: Responsible for undertaking administrative and claims management functions
for workers compensation, ensuring claims are processed in accordance with the
relevant legislation, regulations, policies and internal processes and procedures.
Selection criteria: Demonstrated experience in the administration and management of
worker’s compensation claims. Proven analytical and problem solving skills together
with demonstrated ability to provide accurate information to stakeholders. Sound
knowledge and understanding of NSW Workers Compensation legislation and
associated regulations, policies and guidelines. Well developed interpersonal skills and
demonstrated ability to deal tactfully with stakeholders on complex and confidential
claims. Sound computer and data entry skills including demonstrated experience with
human resource information management systems. Demonstrated ability to work
independently and in a team environment. Sound organisational skills with the ability to
prioritise tasks in a high volume work environment with minimal supervision.
