¤Placement in College level courses listed for the 13th and 14th year is based upon satisfactory completion of basic skills (writing, reading, or math). It is recommended for a student pursuing the
Practical Nursing program that they take the College Entrance Test (COMPASS) during the junior year. Placement assessments are available free to the student. Waivers of placement assessment can
be granted based upon minimum ACT or SAT test scores. Minimal requirements for reading and/or writing waivers are SAT verbal score of 460 or ACT English score of 19 and reading score of 19.
Minimal requirements for math waivers are SAT math score 460 or ACT math score of 19. The 13 th and 14th year plan above assumes that no basic skills courses are required and the student has
successfully passed the Psychological Services Bureau (PSB) Revised Aptitude Test for Practical Nursing during the fall semester of the senior year. Arrangements need to be made for this test at the
ITSC campus in the summer preceding the senior year. This must be completed before a candidate is considered for admission into the Practical Nursing Program
