Project: Analyze the influence of Expo 2010 Shanghai quantitatively
Applied an Investment-Multiplier Model to analyze and predict the contribution of Expo 2010 to Shanghai’s GDP

growth.
Designed relation effect of Expo industry model, combined with the Input—Output Model and Econometrics Model,

to analyze related industries impact of Expo 2010.

COURSE PROJECT

Introduction to Statistical Measurement and Modeling
Instructor: Karen Bandeen-Roche (Professor and Chair)
Course Project Design: Analyze temperature association with altitude.
Considered the fitted error of a simple linear regression model and a multiple linear regression model, applied a

linear Spline model with different number of knots.
Found that the MLR model is more accurate than the SLR one, but the Splines model is the most precise one in these

three models.

Univariate and Multivariate Survival Analysis
Instructor: Mei-Cheng Wang (Professor)
Course Project Design: Analyze the effect of 6MP of patients with acute leukemia

Used both the Kaplan-Meier estimate and the empirical survival distribution, combined with the variance estimates.

Commented on proportional hazards model (PHM) and evaluated whether it is a valid model for a two-sample case.
