Nadia El-Awady’s Summary
Since 2000 my main career focus has been that of a professional science journalist. I have
worked as a writer and editor in this field. I have also written in other fields and enjoy doing
so from time to time. I have also briefly worked in the field of public relations. I then moved
into media training, which I thoroughly enjoyed and would like to continue. I founded
together with colleagues the Arab Science Journalists Association and was its first president. I
am now a board member of the World Federation of Science Journaists. I hope to continue
writing and training and look forward to getting into television production one day.
