Guidelines:






The application is open to both Malaysian and non-Malaysian candidates.
For Masters level project, applicants must have graduated with a first class honour or CGPA of 3.67 and above.
For Ph.D. level project, applicants must have obtained a Masters degree with a good Bachelor degree and good
performance during Masters degree.
Candidates who are in their final year of studies may also apply but must currently possess a first class honour or CGPA of
3.67 and above at the point of application and must maintain a first class honour or CGPA of 3.67 and above upon
graduation.

English Language Qualification:

MMU postgraduate study requires candidates to possess one of the followings:
(a) TOEFL (score of 551 and above, or CBT 213 and above, or IBT 79 and above); OR
(b) IELTS (overall band score of 6.5); OR
(c) Credit in 1119 English Examination; OR
(d) MUET (band 4 and above); OR
(e) Any other qualification, which is of equivalent level as determined by the Senate of Multimedia
University
MMU may interview the candidates who have obtained their Bachelor’s or Master's degrees from
institutions where English is used as the main medium of instruction or as one of the mediums of
instruction.
An English Language Proficiency test will be conducted to gauge the proficiency level of the
candidates who do not meet the English Language requirement and fail the English interview (if
applicable).
Candidates who fail to meet the English Language requirement may enroll in the Intensive English
Language Programme (IELP) offered by MMU.
