Progress expectation
The student should be able to know the differences between past
continuous and simple past and to be able to use and mix both in spoken
English.
Simple past and past continuous in talking.
Simple past and past continuous in story-telling and exercises.
The aim is to make the student more confident and experienced in talking
in past tenses, be able to mix and use both simple past and past
continuous verbs in one sentence.
The student should be able to talk about a past event of her life using both
past continuous and simple past.
Because that the student is Intermediate, I assume that the student have
some knowledge about simple past. I assume that the student has a decent
vocabulary and will be able to talk about personal experiences in English.
Whiteboard, worksheet, game, flashcards
Through a good presentation on the whiteboard followed by comprehension
tasks and a story-writing from the student which will show if the student has
understood the topic.
The class went according to my lesson plan and I feel that the student was
engaged in all of the tasks. Afterwards I feel that I could have done some
things better, like skipped some parts and focused a bit on others, but I feel
that the aim of the class was fulfilled. The student was engaged in all tasks,
even if I wish that I could have gotten her to talk more in the right lane of
the topic. She finished the comprehension questions to show that she
learned the aim of the class even if she struggled a bit in her speaking.

Notes
A lady full with energy! She was engaged in all tasks
and had a high level of English. I think she participated
good in everything. Even if she struggles in her
vocabulary, she still tries to talk and participate, which I
think shows great motivation.
