MUSIC MINISTRY MISSION AND VISION STATEMENTS
MISSION STATEMENT
To glorify God through the planning, preparing and presenting of culturally relevant and inspiring worship
experiences that move people to respond to the work of Christ in their lives.
VISION STATEMENT
To train, grow and utilize fellow believers whose primary talents are in the areas of Music, Audio/Visual
production, Drama and Electronic Arts for the sole purpose of glorifying Christ. Our secondary purpose is to grow
together in Christ as a family of believers; ministering to one another, holding each other accountable and "doing
life" together.
CORE BELIEFS
To see people come to Christ and lives changed (Matthew 28:18-20)
Jesus Christ has commanded us to go forth and spread His message of salvation to the ends of the earth, making
disciples of all the nations. This starts in the local community. A vibrant, focused church is essential to
accomplishing the goal of reaching, teaching, and growing His people.
Glorifying God in how we live our lives (1 Thessalonians 5:12-28; 1 Corinthians 10:31)
As believers, we should strive to glorify God in everything we say, think and do. Living a life that is noticeably
different from the world can be a powerful way to open a non-believer’s heart to the hearing of the saving gospel
of Jesus Christ.
Unity through Humility (Philippians 2:3-5; John 13:1-20)
Christ has called us to humble ourselves, lifting our brothers and sisters up; looking out not only for our own
interests but the interests of others as well. When we operate under these principles, and are guided by the proper
motives, we can only draw closer as believers.
Intentional Planning, Execution and Operational Excellence
I believe in the proper preparation of our hearts, bodies and minds in order to bring forth our best efforts possible
in all we do. Whether conducting a worship service, interacting with our children, or witnessing to the
unchurched, when we are properly prepared, God is glorified.
