Conducting my own research on the relationships between many variables and self-control in human adults. These variables include: reinforcer quality, visibility of food cues, food preferences, eating history, dieting status; deprivation level, reinforcer amount and delay, and sensitivity to variation in reinforcer value. Conducted my own research in Dr. A. W. Logue's experimental psychology laboratory. This research explored the relationships between many variables and self-control in human adults and children. These variables included: eating history; dieting status; personality characteristics; reinforcer amount, delay, and quality; method of reinforcer delivery; language ability; age; gender; and sensitivity to variation in reinforcer value.
