1. Please mute your cell phones while in class. Leave the room when you must
make or answer a phone call.
2. Please show appropriate respect for me and your fellow classmates: no text
messaging, no sleeping, no headphones, no web surfing/ game playing on the
computer and no distracting side conversations while class is in session.
3. Check your Brookdale email account regularly. Email will be the communication
method I will use for the whole class in the event of an emergency (e.g., last minute
class cancellation).

Fifteen 3-point Attendance and Classroom
Participation/ Behavior grades (erratic
attendance, frequently arriving late or
leaving early, and not meeting classroom
expectations will negatively affect this part
of the grade)

Late Assignments: You will lose 10% per week for assignments that are late.
If you absent the day an assignment is due, no late points
will be deducted; turn it the following week. Please do not
email me any assignments unless I request you do so.
Extra Credit: Extra credit assignments may be offered during the
semester. If extra credit is offered, it will only count if
all regular assignments have been turned in by the end
of the semester.
