Course Title: Algebra 2
Course Description: This course is for anyone needing a third year of math or who plans to take Pre-Calculus, College Algebra, Finite Mathematics, or Probability & Statistics.
Emphasis in this class is placed upon expanding the algebraic concepts taught in Algebra, right triangle and circular function trigonometry are introduced.
Course Goal / Rationale: Algebra 2 offers an array of algebraic topics that meet required standards and that will provide a strong foundation for future work in mathematics.
Grade Level(s): 10, 11, 12
Prerequisite(s): Grade of C or D in Honors Geometry; or Grade of A, B or C in Geometry
