The Government of Montenegro is implementing the project “Higher Education and Research for Innovation and Competitiveness (HERIC)”, which is financed by a World Bank loan. Within the component 3.1 of the Project (“Establishment of a Pilot Center Excellence”) after the realization of the call and evaluation procedure, awarded project is the “Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics (BIO-ICT)”, whose holder is the Faculty for Electrical Engineering of University of Montenegro. In accordance with the World Bank requirements, an environmental assessment was conducted which resulted in Report on Environmental Assessment (EA) with the Environmental Management Plan (EMP). Project activities covered by the mentioned document will be realized in Podgorica in the laboratories of the Faculty for Electrical Engineering, Biotechnical Faculty and Institute for Public Health, in Kotor in the Institute for Marine Biology and Company “Cogi” DOO and in Danilovgrad on the location DOO „Green House Jovović“. Having in mind mentioned facts and in order to inform the public and to collect comments and opinions FACULTY FOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING ANNOUNCES AN INVITATION FOR PUBLIC CONSULTATION We hereby notify that the interested public can get insight into EA Report with the Environmental Management Plan for the Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics every working days from July 07 to July 15 2014 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. as follows: - At the Faculty for Electrical Engineering in Podgorica, Džordža Vašingtona b.b., in the Office 343 (third floor); At the Institute for Marine Biology in Kotor, Dobrota b.b. in the Director Office and In the HERIC Office in Podgorica, Rimski trg 19, first floor. The document will be published on the web site of the Faculty for Electrical Engineering : www.etf.ac.me and of the HERIC project: www.heric.me Comments and opinions on the EA Report with the EMP shall be submitted to the above addresses and to the e-mail address: igordj@ac.me till July 15 2014. at 12 p.m. Public discussion will be held at the Faculty for Electrical Engineering in the Meeting Hall (third floor) on Wednesday, July 16 2014 at 10 a.m. The final version of the EA Report with the EMP with information about the collected comments and opinions and the manner of their treatment will be published on web sites of the Faculty for Electrical Engineering and the HERIC project.
