Wing Staff and Command Staff
Wing Commander (CW/CC)
Responsible for:
 Maintaining and improving the appearance, discipline, effectiveness, training, and
conduct of the 158th AFROTC Cadet Wing
 Planning and coordinating all Wing activities pertinent to the purpose and mission of
AFROTC
 Accomplishing the mission of the Cadet Wing
 Setting the Cadet Wing’s goals and vision for the semester
 Coordinating with Wing Staff and cadre to designate positions in the Organization Chart
 Coordinating with Wing Staff to plan the Semester Calendar
 Collecting monthly Training Reports from Wing Staff
 Running/Attending weekly Wing Staff Meetings
 Attending weekly Cadre Briefings and LLab Debriefs with OFC
 Ensuring the Cadet Wing Duty Descriptions are updated as necessary
 Performing other duties as directed by the OFC
Vice Commander (CW/CV)
Responsible for:
 Assisting the CW/CC in all areas of CC’s responsibilities
 Assuming command of the Cadet Wing in the absence of the Wing Commander
 Providing feedback to the Wing Staff on how efficient the Group Commanders are
accomplishing their mission
 Oversee the day-to-day operations and collect training reports from: Standardization and
Evaluations Officer
 Ensuring the Cadet Wing is notified of upcoming events in a timely manner
 Working with CW/XO to ensure the Wing Calendar is updated
 Creating a budget for CV staff
 Planning, scheduling, and organizing POC meetings as necessary
 Attending weekly Wing Staff meetings
 Attending and assisting the CW/CC during cadre briefings and other meetings with cadre
 Assisting the Wing Commander with administrative duties including, but not limited to,
counseling for LOCs
 Fostering innovation within the Cadet Wing
 Performing duties as directed by the Cadet Wing Commander. These duties include, but
are not limited to, overseeing a cadet’s performance, aiding with the planning and
execution of a specific event, assisting with any paperwork pertaining the Cadet Wing,
and/or performing as a backup project officer







Functioning as the Joint Student Liaison*
Providing oversight of the Financial Officer
Coordinating with GP/CCs and SQ/CCs in establishing the semester’s Wing budget
Distributing cadet funds as directed by the Wing Commander
Providing a bi-weekly (once every two weeks) financial report to CW/CC
Performing other duties as directed by the CW/CC
Provide operational oversight to Acquisition Officer
*Joint Student Liaison (CW/JSL) (Position has been rolled into CW/CV)
Responsible for:
 Coordinating with the leadership of both the Army and Navy ROTC battalions to develop
and coordinate Joint activities and keeping the chain of command informed of possible
upcoming events
 Coordinating efforts with each program through the Joint Military Leadership Center
(JMLC) to execute and promote the importance of a joint military
 Improving joint coordination between the military branches
 Evaluating what the JMLC has done well
 Determining what is needed to improve the JMLC
 Gaining a better understanding of joint operations
 Rallying assistance from the Cadet Corps for joint events
 Understanding and coordinating with the Joint Military Association (JMA)
 Leading and managing the Deputy JSL (if applicable)
 Updating the Joint Military continuity folder as described by the Wing Commander
 Coordinating volunteers to escort VIPs, assist cadets and midshipmen with breakout class
schedules, and MC for the JMLC Symposium
Commander’s Action Group (CW/CAG) (Headed by CW/CV)
Note: A member of the CAG may also serve in another position.
Responsible for:
 Performing duties as directed by the Commandant of Cadets. These duties include, but
are not limited to, overseeing a cadet’s performance, aiding with the planning and
execution of a specific event, assisting with any paperwork pertaining the Cadet Wing,
and/or performing as a backup project officer.

Commander’s Action Group Officer Deputy (CAGO/Dep)
Responsible for:
 Performing duties as directed by the Commander’s Action Group Officer
Commander’s Action Group Officer (CW/CAGO) (Reports directly to CW/CV)
Responsible for:
 Establishing contacts with civilian and other pertinent organizations to schedule and
obtain fundraising slots
 Monitoring the Wing’s income and preparing an income statement after each fundraising
event


Maintaining a safety first mentality for all cadets working an event
Planning and conducting Wing fundraising events
Awards and Decorations Officer (CAGO/A&D)
Responsible for:
 Acting as sole point of contact for all cadet wing awards
 Printing awards certificates or certificates of appreciation and have them ready to pass
out at LLAB
 Coordinating Cadet of the Month nominations and boards
 Coordinating POC and GMC of the Month nominations and boards
 Handling all Honor Flight and Warrior Flight points reporting and recording and
reporting winner to Wing Staff
 Submitting a budget request to the CW/CAGO
Color Guard Commander (CAGO/CG)
Responsible for:
 Actively pursuing opportunities for Color Guard events
 Hold weekly practices
 Commanding the Color Guard at all Color Guard events
 Providing drill and ceremonies instruction and ensuring Color Guard activities comply
with AFROTC Parade and Retreat Handbook and AFI 36-2203
 Conducting the raising and lowering of the flag at all PT and LLAB sessions as required
 Planning a budget to submit to the CW/CAGO
 Appointing and supervising the drill team commander
 Overseeing the planning and coordinating of the Color Guard and Rifle/Drill Team
Executive Officer (CW/XO)
Responsible for:
 Assisting WG/CC and WG/CV with all minor and clerical duties including, but not
limited to, Wing Staff attendance at all AFROTC functions and the maintenance of the
Wing Calendar
 Posting at the entrance or exit to call the room/area to attention (unless required to be
with flight for training purposes)
 Being the main assistant to the wing leadership
 Learning the primary skills required for assisting WS
(i.e. Memo writing, power points, ect)
 Performing other duties as directed by the CW/CC or CW/CV
OPERATIONS GROUP
Operations Group Commander (OG/CC)
Responsible for:
 Supervising the OG/DC, OG/PFO, SQ/CCs and ALT/CC
 Work closely with OFC to ensure AFROTC objectives are met
 Ensuring proper LLAB training throughout the semester
 Ensuring the proper appearance, discipline, effectiveness, training, and conduct of all
those appointed to Operations Group
 Preparing and submitting the master Operations Plan to the CW/CC according to T-508
 Ensuring attendance policies are enforced through cooperation with DP
 Submitting the Ops Orders to the CW/CC to be approved by OFC 14 days prior to the
LLAB
 Ensuring training objectives are presented to Cadet Corps in an accessible location
 Receiving a budget from SQ/CCs and working with the CW/CV to prepare a budget for
the group
 Performing other duties as directed by the CW/CC or OFC
Operations Group Deputy Commander (OG/CD)
Responsible for:
 Coordinating logistics of LLAB for POC, IMT, FTP
 Developing, coordinating and planning new Group Leadership Projects to help facilitate
training objectives
 Posting the Ops Orders on the cadet website one week prior to the PT and LLAB and
sending a weekly email on the LISTSERV to announce posting
 Ensuring training objectives are met
 Ensuring practical drill instruction objectives are met
 Ensure the proper weekly information is posted on the LISTSERV
 Completing the necessary performance feedback forms on direct reporting staff members
as outlined in the UMD and Operations Plan
 Performing other duties as directed by the Operations Group Commander
Drill and Ceremonies Officer (OG/D&C)
Responsible for:
 Organizing and directing all ceremonial activities at LLAB including, but not limited to,
the following: Reveille and Retreat, Change of Command, and proper American and
Service Flag Procedures
 Preparing practical drill lessons for LLAB IAW AFROTC objectives
 Providing drill instruction for parades, reveilles and retreats IAW AFROTC Parade and
Retreat Handbook and AFI 36-2203
 Becoming thoroughly familiar with the Drill and Ceremonies Manual, AFI 36-2203
 Answering any and all questions directed to any disputes over procedure
 Establishing standardized methods for ceremonial events for the Cadet Corps
 Preparing and executing extra drill practice as needed

Performing other duties as directed by the OG/CD or OG/CC
Drill and Ceremonies Deputy (D&C/Dep)
Responsible for:
 Performing duties as directed by the OG/D&C
 Controlling the sound equipment and music for parade and parade practices
POC Trainer (OG/POC)
Responsible for:
 Ensuring each cadet within the squadron is receiving proper training IAW AFROTC
Objectives
 Coordinating training plans submitting them to OG/CD for approval
 Submitting weekly training reports to OG/CD of the overall progress of cadets in regard
to the LLAB objectives
 Ensuring training schedule is maintained and training is proficient
 Developing POC lesson plans IAW the OPLAN and based on the required remaining
objectives for each AS class
 Ensuring all required objectives for the POC classes are met by the end of the year
 Executing each lesson plan during allotted LLAB sessions
 Performing other duties as directed by the OG/CD or OG/CC
Physical Fitness Officer (OG/PFO)
Responsible for:
 Preparing and sending the Physical Training Orders to the OG/CD in accordance with the
designated suspense dates
 Composing the Semester PT Plan IAW the cadre PT Officer, DOT, and OG/CC
 Preparing for and conducting official PFAs, compiling, and recording the results in an
organized manner. Preparation may include, but are not limited to, printing off forms,
bringing pencils, scheduling events and spotters, etc.
 Compiling PFD and PFA scores for Warrior Flight criteria and submitting them to the
Awards and Decorations Officer
 Ensuring the Cadet Corps receives an adequate and thorough workout each scheduled PT
morning
 Running the Physical Training program in accordance with Air Force and AFROTC
Instructions and the Field Training Manual
 Performing other duties as directed by the OG/CD or OG/CC
Physical Fitness Deputy (PFO/USF, PFO/UT, and PFO/CCC)
Responsible for:
 Performing duties as directed OG/PFO
 Performing OG/PFO duties when or where the OG/PFO is absent
Squadron Commander (SQ1, 2, and 3/CC)
Responsible for:
 Ensuring each cadet within the squadron is receiving proper training IAW AFROTC
Objectives
 Coordinating training plans with OG/CD and submitting plans to OG/CD for approval
 Ensuring FLT/CCs are performing and submitting proper documentation on cadets
 Tracking absences in the squadron and counseling flight commanders with 2 LLAB
absences
 Recording and updating LLAB attendance charts immediately after LLAB and
submitting them to the OG/CD and PS/DP
 Submitting weekly training reports to OG/CD of the overall progress of cadets in regard
to the LLAB objectives
 Ensuring training schedule is maintained and training is proficient
 Organizing squadron socials
 Notifying DP/A&D of cadet attendance at socials for Warrior Flight Criteria
 Ensuring all required objectives for each class are met by the end of the year
 Executing each lesson plan during allotted LLAB sessions
 Performing other duties as directed by the OG/CD or OG/CC
Flight Commander (A, B, C, and D FLT/CC’s)
Responsible for:
 The appearance, discipline, efficiency, training, and effectiveness of the flight
 Tracking attendance on ACTS
 Planning and coordinating flight activities
 Organizing Flight socials
 Ensuring chain of command use
 Recognizing top cadets and monitoring failing cadets through weekly reports to SQ/CC
 Tracking absences in the flight and counseling cadets with 2 or more absences
 Administering proper feedback/documentation when needed such as MFR, Official
Memorandum, LOC, and LOR
 Performing other duties as directed by their respective SQ/CC and the OG/CD
Squadron 3 (FTP) Squadron Commander/FTP Trainer (FTP SQ/CC)
Responsible for:
 Working with the OG/CC as well as the OG/CD to ensure that all the FTP objectives for
LLAB are met by the end of the semester
 Developing FTP lesson plans IAW the OPLAN and based on the required remaining
objectives for each AS class
 Submitting weekly training reports to the OG/CD of overall progress of cadets regarding
LLAB objectives
 Working with the FLT/CCs to ensure that the schedule is being followed accurately
 Assigning duties to the FLT/CCs
 Working with the OG/CC to ensure FTP cadets get the training they need to prepare them
for Field Training
 Submitting Honor/Warrior flight information to the DP/A&D






Counseling cadets with excessive PT and/or LLAB absences
Evaluating, mentoring, supervising, and leading the SQ/CD and FLT/CCs
Evaluating the rotational cadet SQ/CC
Providing constant feedback to both the FTP cadets and the FTP Staff
Knowing the Field Training Manual and providing guidance to the Wing Staff on
changes to Wing policies based on annual changes to the FTM
Performing other duties as directed by the OG/CC and OG/CD
FTP Flight Commander (E, F, and G FLT/CC’s)
Responsible for:
 Serving as the main trainer for an FTP flight
 Coordinating all activities with SQ/CC
 Ensuring flight arrives to all scheduled activities on time
 Evaluating, supervising, and mentoring the rotational FLT/CC and other flight leadership
positions
 Determining rotational cadet flight leadership and reporting the position holders to the to
the SQ/CC
 Administering appropriate feedback/documentation as required (i.e. Memos, LOCs, etc)
 Providing constant feedback to FTP cadets
 Knowing the Field Training Manual inside and out
 Performing other duties as directed by the SQ/CC or SQ/DO
MISSION SUPPORT GROUP
Mission Support Group Commander (MSG/CC)
Responsible for:
 Supervising the Personnel and Special Events Squadrons
 Attending weekly Wing Staff meetings
 Closely coordinating support functions with OG/CC and MXG/CC
 Organizing, coordinating, and directing the semester in-processing
 Receiving a budget from Squadron Commanders and working with the Financial Officer
to prepare a budget for the group
 Ensuring progress reports and after-action reports for events and projects are prepared for
Wing Staff meetings, the CW/CC, and OFC (when requested)
 Performing other duties as directed by the CW/CC
Deputy Mission Support Group Commander (MSG/CD)
Responsible for:
 Receive and review group reports and relay important information to the MSG/CC
 Assume command of the Mission Support Group in the absence of the MSG/CC
 Performing other duties as directed by the MSG/CC
Personnel Squadron Commander (PRS/CC)
Responsible for:
 Supervising MWR, Intramural Sports, Awards & Decorations, Director of Personnel
work, and Academic work
 Assisting in the execution of MWR, Intramural events, and any others that arise
 Preparing a budget to submit to the MSG/CC
 Attending group meetings (as determined by MSG/CC) and updating the MSG/CC on all
progress for that week and discussing future plans
 Understanding squadron operations and being prepared to brief the MSG/CC on any
aspect of the squadron
 Performing other duties as requested by the MSG/CC
MWR Officer (PRS/MWR)
Responsible for:
 Planning and implementing at least four “big” Wing socials per semester
 Ensuring a high level of moral and esprit de corps maintained within the Cadet Wing
 Coordinating with SES/CC to ensure schedule of events do not conflict
 Creating a plan of execution and ORM for each event
 Preparing an activity budget and funds requests with CW/CAS
 Supplying refreshments for designated events
 Submitting a budget request to the PRS/CC
 Performing other duties as directed by the PRS/CC
MWR Deputy (MWR/Dep)
Responsible for:
 Performing duties as directed by the PRS/MWR
Intramural Sports Director (MWR/IM) (AS100)
Responsible for:
 Planning and coordinating Cadet Wing teams for all school related intramural sports the
Wing shows interest in
 Appointing team captain for Intramural Sports to act as a deputy, reporting all activities,
times, dates, and changes
 Notifying DP/A&D of cadet attendance at intramural sports events for Warrior Flight
Criteria
 Submitting a budget request to the PRS/CC
 Advertising intramural events to the Wing to draw players and spectators
 Creating a plan of execution and ORM for each event
Director of Personnel (PRS/DP)/ Information Management Officer
Responsible for:
 Maintaining and enhancing ACTS (this is under the director of personnel)
 Maintaining and enhancing the detachment’s existing web page
 Continuously developing the web page to serve the needs of the cadets














Coordinating the use of the web page with recruiting
Adding relevant upcoming events to the Quick News section of the homepage on a
weekly basis
Posting all Ops Orders and PT orders on the web site, as well as Lead Lab schedules
when requested to do so
Posting the weekly Public Affairs products to the web
Update all documents/templates each semester or as needed
Updating and maintaining the Cadet Contact Information List including, but not limited
to, flight assignments and contact information
Ensuring attendance is properly documented in both ACTS system and written record
Updating and maintaining the Automated Cadet Tracking System (ACTS)
Overseeing the organization of the Personnel Folders located in the Wing Staff office
Establish a system to record cadets absent for an extended period of time (more than 5
days)
Creating, maintaining, and updating the Org Chart and UMD document in conjunction
with the CW/CC
Finding and solving any problems related to ACTS
Attending Group meetings (at the discretion of Group Commander) and updating the
Personnel Squadron Commander on all progress for that week and discuss future plans
Performing other duties as directed by the PRS/CC
Director of Personnel Deputy (DP/Dep)
Responsible for:
 Performing duties as directed by the PRS/DP
Academic Officer (PRS/AO)
Responsible for:
 Providing access to educational opportunities (i.e. tutoring or similar program) and
resources for the wing, especially for cadets new to a college atmosphere
 Developing a plan to enhance the academic environment within the Cadet Wing
 Create a Warrior Knowledge Handbook and reference guide for the Cadet Wing
 Developing a plan to help cadets with poor academic performance and/or poor AFOQT
performance
 Developing proactive solutions to prevent poor performance
 Collecting data on past academic performance and setting goals for the semester
 Advising the Wing Staff on the academic health of the Cadet Wing
 Performing other duties as directed by the PSS/CC
Special Events Squadron Commander (SES/CC)
Responsible for:
 Supervising, mentoring, and evaluating the Military Ball Coordinator, Commissioning
Officer, and the Community Service Officer
 Assisting in the execution of community service events
 Working with the Mission Support Group Commander to create a budget for the
squadron






Approving/disapproving all requests/activities from SES staff
Assisting in the execution of all special events
Preparing a budget to submit to the MSG/CC
Attending Group meetings and updating the Mission Support Group Commander on all
progress for that week and discuss future plans
Understanding squadron operations and being prepared to brief the MSG/CC on any
aspect of the squadron
Performing any other special duties as requested by the MSG/CC
Combat Dinning In Coordinator (SES/CDI)
Responsible for:
 Establishing a location for the fall semester’s CDI
 Coordinating the activities, food, and timeline for the event
 Ensuring all traditions are met by order of the CW/CC
 Executing the Combat Dinning In event
 Maintaining a safety first mentality for all cadets working the event
 Performing additional duties as directed by the SES/CC
Deputy Combat Dinning In Coordinator (CDI/Dep)
Responsible for:
 Performing additional duties as directed by the SES/MB
Community Service (SES/CS)
Responsible for:
 Coordinating at least two community service events with the cadet wing
 Preparing a budget request in conjunction with the SES/CC
 Ensuring that all necessary arrangements (eg. Refreshments) are made for community
service events
 Maintaining a safety first mentality for all cadets working the event
 Working with PRS/MWR to coordinate dual events
 Performing any other special duties as requested by the SES/CC
MAINTENANCE GROUP
Maintenance Group Commander (MXG/CC)
Responsible for:
 Supervising the Recruiting and Mentorship, Logistics, and Public Affairs Squadrons
 Attending weekly Wing Staff meetings
 Closely coordinating maintenance functions with OG/CC and MSG/CC
 Receiving a budget from Squadron Commanders and working with the CW/CAS to
prepare a budget for the group
 Ensuring progress reports and after-action reports for events and projects are prepared for
Wing Staff meetings, the CW/CC, and OFC (when requested)
 Performing other duties as directed by the CW/CC
 Ensuring project reports for recruiting, mentor events, and supply are prepared and
readied for wing staff meetings as needed
 Performing other duties as directed by the CW/CC
Deputy Maintenance Group Commander (MXG/CD)
Responsible for:
 Receiving and review group reports and relay important information to the MXG/CC
 Assuming command of the Maintenance Group in the absence of the MXG/CC
 Performing other duties as directed by the MXG/CC
Recruiting and Mentorship Squadron Commander (R&M/CC)
Responsible for:
 Supervising the Recruiting Staff and Mentor Staff
 Ensuring implementation of sponsorship program during NSOP
 Providing a monthly squadron performance report
 Performing other duties as directed by the MXG/CC
Director of Recruiting (R&M/DR)
Responsible for:
 Success of detachment recruiting program
 Ensuring cadets have the opportunity to become active recruiters for the Wing
 Setting up recruiting events and talking with school representatives to assist the event.
 Maintaining a safety first mentality for all cadets working an event
 Performing other duties as directed by the R&M/CC
USF Recruiting Officer (DR/USF)
Responsible for:
 Recruiting at University of South Florida
 Setting up recruiting events at their assigned areas and talking with school representatives
to assist the event
 Performing other duties as directed by the R&M/DR
UT Recruiting Officer (DR/UT)
Responsible for:
 Recruiting at University of Tampa
 Setting up recruiting events at their assigned areas and talking with school representatives
to assist the event
 Maintaining a safety first mentality for all cadets working the event
 Performing other duties as directed by the R&M/DR
St. Leo (or) Clearwater Christian Recruiting Officer (DR/SLU or CCC)
Responsible for:
 Recruiting at St. Leo University
 Setting up recruiting events at their assigned areas and talking with school representatives
to assist the event
 Maintaining a safety first mentality for all cadets working an event
 Performing other duties as directed by the R&M/DR
HCC Recruiting Officer (DR/HCC)
Responsible for:
 Recruiting at Hillsborough Community College
 Setting up recruiting events at their assigned areas and talking with school representatives
to assist the event.
 Maintaining a safety first mentality for all cadets working an event
 Performing other duties as directed by the R&M/DR
Mentor Programs Officer (R&M/MN)
Responsible for:
 Providing the R&M/CC with an after-action report of mentor events
 Setting up mentor/mentee groups
 Ensuring that mentors correspond with protégés regularly, at least monthly
 Ensuring mentors help protégés assimilate smoothly into the AFROTC program and
establish goals for the protégé
 Submitting monthly mentoring reports to R&M/CC
 Plan career day with the active duty officers
 Performing other duties as directed by R&M/CC
Mentor Programs Deputy (MN/Dep)
Responsible for:
 Performing duties as directed by the Mentor Officer
Logistics Squadron Commander (LS/CC)
Responsible for:
 Closely overseeing the Logistics Squadron, especially supply to ensure that
communication with the NCOs is efficient
 Supervising Supply Officer and Facilities Officer



Consolidating monthly Supply Inventory Reports and shipment information along with
Facilities monthly reports into a Logistics Weekly Summary to be turned in to the
MXG/CC
Overseeing the Acquisitions Officer and his/her operations as well establishing their
agendas and target events
Performing other duties as directed by the MXG/CC or MXG/CD
Supply Officer (LS/SUP)
 Coordinating with the Detachment Supply NCOIC for issue, maintenance, and inventory
of Wing supplies and uniforms
 Ensuring the security and integrity of the Supply Room and adjoining premises
 Establishing standard cadet procedures for issuing items
 Developing a monthly report detailing incoming and outgoing shipments and quantities
of the same and submitting it to the LS/CC
 Performing a monthly inventory check and count and developing a report based on this
information to be submitted to the LS/CC and NCOIC in order to order items with
appropriate timing
 Establishing an hourly schedule that provides the best servicing times for the Wing based
on LS/SUP and SUP/Dep’s availability and that these are properly displayed to the wing
and advertised
 Establishing a temporary schedule during NSOP in order to perform in processing and
initial issue
 Completing the necessary performance feedback forms on direct reporting staff members
as outlined in the UMD and Operations Plan
Supply Deputy (SUP/Dep)
Responsible for:
 Performing duties as directed by the LS/CC
Facilities Officer (LS/FO)
Responsible for:
 Maintaining proper sanitation and appearance of Cadet Areas as coordinated with the
JMLC Liaison and maintaining the wing staff office as directed by the LS/CC
 Ensuring that the Wing Staff Office is secured and organized at all times
 Updating the cadet mail boxes’ labels to reflect the current manning of the Wing’s
contracted cadets and members of the POC as well as delivering mail from Ms. Brenda to
the cadet mailboxes
 Updating the information board on a weekly basis in the wing staff office with current
print outs of the Cadet Wing calendar, that week’s newsletter, and current event
announcements
 Performing other duties as directed by the LS/CC
Public Affairs Squadron Commander (PAS/CC)
Responsible for:
 Producing at least two articles with pictures to be submitted to the Leader magazine
(need to find out if Lt Col Llewellyn has the information about the magazine and entering
the articles)
 Implementing a system to keep the Wing informed about upcoming events that is visible
to all cadets (newsletter)
 Ensuring that photos are uploaded to the Flickr account
 Overseeing the Information Manager
 Increasing the Wing’s visibility in the public eye, both on campus at USF and in the
Tampa Bay area
 Creating videos to be used for recruiting efforts and on the website
 Managing and following up on tasks assigned to PAD and PAP
 Creating a proposed budget and submitting it to the MXG/CC
 Completing the necessary performance feedback forms on direct reporting staff members
as outlined in the UMD and Operations Plan

Wing Photographer (PAS/PO) and videographer (may be a different cadet)
Responsible for:
 Providing photographic services of cadets at AFROTC events: special events, wing
socials, LLAB, parades, sorts, commissioning etc
 Providing photographic services to the Public Affairs Officer and the Webmaster in a
timely manner
 Organizing and executing a Wing Picture
 Providing pictures for the Public Affairs Officer to send to the Leader Magazine and
other AFROTC articles
 Videographer must have own editing equipment/programs and access to a video camera
 Providing video services of cadets at AFROTC events: special events, wing socials,
LLAB, parades, sorts, commissioning etc
 Providing video services to the Public Affairs Officer and the Webmaster in a timely

Inspector General
Inspector General (CW/IG)
Responsible for:
 Providing the wing leadership with highlights of the wing and its issues and successes
 Collecting, handling, and tracking Cadet Wing complaints, inquiries, and disputes
 Leading and organizing all Mediation Boards
 Maintaining the “IG Guarantee”
 Identifying systemic problems within in the Wing
 Detecting and identifying any Fraud, Waste, and Abuse in the Wing by coordinating with
the Acquisitions Officer and Financial Manager
 Ensuring the public health and safety of the Wing
 Supervising wing inspections and conducting occasional inspections in conjunction with
the Standardization and Evaluations Officer
 Providing regular feedback to the Vice Commander and Commander on unit compliance
 Serving as AFSO21 Director, Project Officer, and the head of the AFSO Process Council
(made up of the members Wing Staff)
 Implementing and overseeing improvements within the Wing, from AFSO21 ideas or
Wing Staff, as directed by the Wing Commander
 Meeting regularly with the IMT and FTP Advisors to get a feel for their class’s needs
 Attending weekly Wing Staff meetings
 Submitting a report to the OFC at a minimum of once every two weeks
 Performing other duties as directed by the CW/CC
IMT Advisor (IG/IMTA)
Responsible for:
 Advising the Inspector General on the status, morale, and feedback from within the IMT
class
 Updating the IMT Advisor continuity folder as described by the Wing Commander
 Attending one meeting with the Inspector General per month or as needed
 Performing other duties as directed by the CW/IG
FTP Advisor (IG/FTPA)
Responsible for:
 Advising the Inspector General on the status, morale, and feedback from within the FTP
class
 Providing recommendations to the Wing Staff based on input from the FTP cadets
 Updating the FTP Advisor continuity folder as described by the Wing Commander
 Attending one meeting with the Inspector General per month or as needed
 Performing other duties as directed by the CW/IG
AS300 Advisor (IG/ICLA)
Responsible for:
 Advising the Inspector General on the status, morale, and feedback from within the
AS300 class
 Providing recommendations to the Wing Staff based on input from the AS300 cadets
 Updating the AS300 Advisor continuity folder as described by the Wing Commander
 Attending one meeting with the Inspector General per month or as needed
 Performing other duties as directed by the CW/IG
AS400 Advisor (IG/ECLA)
Responsible for:
 Advising the Inspector General on the status, morale, and feedback from within the
AS400 class
 Providing recommendations to the Wing Staff based on input from the AS400 cadets
 Updating the AS400 Advisor continuity folder as described by the Wing Commander
 Attending one meeting with the Inspector General per month or as needed
 Performing other duties as directed by the CW/IG
Safety Officer (IG/SAF)
Responsible for:
 Ensuring the Wing is briefed on and complies with all safety procedures, fire evacuation
plans, and AFROTC safety Regulations
 Updating the Wing on any possible threats or hazards
 Being familiar with common injuries that cadets commonly have during Wing physical
fitness
 Ensuring cadets will wear suitable clothing based on weather conditions and also
ensure proper hydration procedures
 Performing evaluations of outside PT/LLAB areas for safety hazards
 Providing pertinent safety information to the Wing
 Maintaining the cadet lounge first aid kit
 Maintaining and carrying (at all wing events including, but not limited to, PT and LLab)
the safety officer backpack containing a first aid kit and other safety items
 Making safety policy recommendations to the Inspector General
 Performing other duties as directed by the CW/IG
Standardization and Evaluations Officer (IG/S&E)
Responsible for:
 Expand the scope of the UCI inspections and conduct this inspection twice during the
semester
 Ensure that the Wing complies with all AFROTC Instructions
 Supervising all UCI initiatives
 Lead specific compliance & improvement efforts as directed by the IG, work with the
Financial Advisor and Acquisitions Officer to ensure compliance with tax law
 Performing other duties as directed by the CW/IG
 Ensuring Wing standardization
 Enforcing all AFIs and AFROTCIs including, but not limited to, uniform and dress and
appearance
 Ensuring proper feedback and evaluations are performed using the appropriate forms
 Evaluate and improve the Wing's overall dress, appearance and the proper application of
customs and courtesies
 Conducting regular uniform inspections and publishing a report on those inspections
 Reporting issues to the CW/IG and the CW/CV
 Providing the WG/CC with one IMT, FTP, and POC cadet each week who has the best
uniform (“Uniform of the Day”)
 Performing other duties as directed by the CW/IG
