Received $3,000 summer research grant for dissertation study.

2006 International Collaborative Exchange Supplementary Funding to National Science
Foundation HSD Grant IIS05-27457 (Investigating the Dynamics of Free/Libre Open Source
Software Development Teams)
Co-wrote the grant extension with Dr. Kevin Crowston, which resulted in $30,000 funding that allowed
Yeliz and a colleague to spend a summer in Italy for research on shared mental models in FLOSS
teams.

National Science Foundation, Human and Social Dynamics Program Grants (NSF Grants IIS 0341475, 04-14468, 05-27457, and 07-08437)
Under the guidance of Dr. Kevin Crowston, contributed to grant-writing efforts, preparing presentations
to the NSF and writing annual reports. Conducted research under these four grants to investigate the
dynamics of Free/Libre Open Source Software Development Teams. Disseminated the research results
at conferences.

Enterprise-wide Blackberry Implementation: Provided training and coordinated the support efforts for
executives. Designed a business process to roll-out the project upon the completion of the pilot phase.

 Designed an approach to re-test security for Sales & Distribution group.
 Configured the cost center control logic for Finance and Controlling (FI / CO) modules.
Web Development: Created and managed a Help Website with documentation of over 600 transactions on the
Intranet for local and international SAP users. Also coordinated integration of RWD’s visual basic application to
SAP. Designed multi-level testing process for this integration and ensured complete testing of the help website
